I wish they'd do these PS2>PS3 ports in 1080p instead of 720p+AA. I'm certainly going to pick this up though. I completely missed out on the PS2 and have only considered going back and buying one for games such as Shadow of the Colossus.
ICO

The story of a forsaken boy with horns and a mysterious girl who must work together to escape from the confines of an enormous castle.
A Team ICO HD Collection Looks More And More Likely

ewwwwwww
I like how if you go to the Ico page on Giantbomb how that "artwork" is for some reason missing and replaced with the original Japanese cover.
In other news: Who do I have to kill for them to announce their going to release it already?! I'll do it! Don't stop me! -_-

" @get2sammyb said:EXACTLY.So you can pretend you have to change discs when you want to play the other one? :P "" SOLD. In fact, I'll buy two. Maybe. "
" I missed out on both these classics, and I can imagine playing them upscaled on a massive TV looks pretty poor, if I could even find copies to buy. This'll be a day one purchase for me! "
" I'll give these a go but I remember playing the ICO demo and hating it. Shadow of the Colossus just looked really dull to me as well, but I was a lot younger then and I used to hate RPGs but now I love them. Tastes change! "Blasphemy! :)
If it does get announced (which it will), I recommend you give them another go. It'll probably be a budget release anyway. Definitely worth a punt.
If this is true (and judging on how official looking the boxart is) I will most definitely be picking up a copy of this!
I would buy this immediately, mainly because ICO by itself is $40 these days. I've already played through Shadow, and it would be a much better experience in HD.
" @Ygg said:I will! I bet it will be priced around the same as the God of War Collection so that'll be pretty sweet, hopefully I'll see the fuss about them this time!" I am excited and bummed out by this news. Excited cause I will be able to play better looking versions of games I loved for trophies. Bummed cause this means more than likely, The Last Guardian will not be coming out until after this game has hit shelves for awhile; which could be up to ANOTHER WHOLE YEAR!
I'd love to get this but it hard to justify the purchase when I have the originals and a working PS2. But then again, I would like to see them upscaled in HD.
This is all I need to have announced at this year's TGS for it to be considered a flaming success in my book.
Gimme this Team ICO collection and I'm set til Last Guardian, if that's not for another two years.
I loved Ico but sort of lost my copy of the game in the divorce and never tracked down another copy. I have Shadow but I've never actually even taken it out of the wrapping. I have wanted to play it forever but it keeps getting put on the back burner.
I would purchase an HD collection in a heartbeat.
" @vidiot said:I remember someone posting a high-res scan of it on a forum a while back. If I had a copy of the game at the time I totally would have done it, too." @Vito_Raliffe said:Back in the day I got a friend in Japan to make a super high-res scan of his Japanese box art, then I went to a print shop and printed myself a new cover to put in the DVD case.
