I wish they'd do these PS2>PS3 ports in 1080p instead of 720p+AA. I'm certainly going to pick this up though. I completely missed out on the PS2 and have only considered going back and buying one for games such as Shadow of the Colossus.

...and the odds of my buying a PS3 grow even closer.

I'll give these a go but I remember playing the ICO demo and hating it. Shadow of the Colossus just looked really dull to me as well, but I was a lot younger then and I used to hate RPGs but now I love them. Tastes change!

I am no longer wishing for this to happen, at this point I am fairly convinced it is indeed happening.  TGS will be quite welcome.

However, the box art seems kinda 'meh'

If this is true (and judging on how official looking the boxart is) I will most definitely be picking up a copy of this!

I would buy this immediately, mainly because ICO by itself is $40 these days.  I've already played through Shadow, and it would be a much better experience in HD.

I never got around to playing either of these on playstation 2. I'd be in.

I am totally into this. I don't own a ps3, but that is now going to change one day.

I am excited and bummed out by this news. Excited cause I will be able to play better looking versions of games I loved for trophies. Bummed cause this means more than likely, The Last Guardian will not be coming out until after this game has hit shelves for awhile; which could be up to ANOTHER WHOLE YEAR!

This is pretty much the reason I got a PS3 I never play the damn thing but it's a good Blue Ray player

I bought the PS2 component Progressive Scan cables just for SotC. This is an insta-purchase for me.

There is absolutely no reason for Team Ico to not do this.

Although now that I think of it, I'd hate for them to disrupt the Colossi death scenes with some sort of trophy unlocked notification.

This is all I need to have announced at this year's TGS for it to be considered a flaming success in my book.

DUDE! Yes! This makes me so happy, I've been wanting to play Shadow of the Colossus for some time now and Ico looks cool too. 

I loved Ico but sort of lost my copy of the game in the divorce and never tracked down another copy.  I have Shadow but I've never actually even taken it out of the wrapping.  I have wanted to play it forever but it keeps getting put on the back burner. 
 
I would purchase an HD collection in a heartbeat.

Day one for me. I never played Ico but I played SoTC but never finished it.

Never played either game but heard so much about them. 
 
Definitely will pick up if it becomes a reality.

Hopefully the U.S. version of ICO has all the euro stuff like 2 player mode and alt ending.
 don't know why it wasn't in the original release.

Back in the day I got a friend in Japan to make a super high-res scan of his Japanese box art, then I went to a print shop and printed myself a new cover to put in the DVD case. One of the nerdier and more obsessive things I've done... "
