the only ones that I know of are Insurgency Mod, Red Orchestra, and EC: Elite

Any good Realism shooters?
"Left 4 Dead. You just don't understand how real this is.lol if they made a realism mod for that, it would be EXTREMELY difficult lolTHEY ARE COMING.

you'd have like 2 clips and ur leg would be broken and thats how the game would start you off lol
This game is pretty hardcore. You can see the bullets go down in a scope, because of gravity.
"You could try America's Army? It even makes you go through the training to assure that you know how to shoot a weapon before you go online."Is that the one where you actually have to take a test after listening to a guy teach you for 30 minutes?
That's kinda when you're at the point where you might as well just join the army. Real life benefits too.

"Operation Flash Point 2. Should be out this year."Is that coming to consoles aswell or PC only?
"SWAT, Operation Flashpoint, ArmA.STALKER actually has a pretty realistic ballistics model, but that's about how far the realism in that game goes.
Also lol at STALKER. Items that you can clip to your belt to reduce damage from invisible mutants are realistic?"

"CynageN said:Both, but the console is quite literally half the game the PC version will be. Half the player/AI count."Operation Flash Point 2. Should be out this year."Is that coming to consoles aswell or PC only?"

I liked Joint Operations, and it was relatively popular for a while, but Punkbuster support has been removed so now you're stuck with like 25% hackers.
NovaLogic is coming out with a new game in the next year or so by what I hear.
I'm currently sat rubbing my hands together waiting for Operation Flashpoint 2 to come out. I'll have no skin left by the time they even date it. :(
Swat 4, Raven Shield, America's Army, Red Orchestra.
I really recommend AA considering it's free and top quality, as the tutorials aren't that annoying. They're a bit like the Half-Life hazard course, and you can spread them out between actual playing sessions as many of them simply unlock specialty classes you may not even be interested in (but some are required for access to certain map types, like SF). Also, you can mostly avoid all the propaganda stuff, I'm not even American but I didn't find it very annoying, other than thinking that all that stuff I won't even look at probably doubled the file size.
Ha, yeah, I remember putting a ton of terrorists in some of the dark maps (I think jail was especially sweet like this) and going in with just a silenced pistol, a sniper rifle (with thermal scope), the heartbeat detector and no squad. It felt like a proper, actually realistic, first person splinter cell like that. Of course, the standard squad missions were also awesome though I couldn't bring myself to spend time making my own plans and so I just followed the preset, with a few variations.
