I just didn't want to have to switch between consoles.

Shouldn't there be two 80GB entries since there were backwards compatible 80GB SKUs as well as the newer non-BC SKUs?

80GB MGS4 LIMITED EDITION... already swapped out the 80 for 500. (people keep telling me there is no backwards compatibility in this model, but I have tested my entire PS2 and PS library with no issues... what's up with that?)

I had a 60 gig, it fried and had the yellow light of death. Now I had a 80 gig ps3, however two ps3 60 gigs were brought to my house before and they both fried from different things. They are honestly lying outright about their reliability since I seen it for myself.

I have a 40gb because it came free with my mobile phone contract...NICE! wish i had the orignal 60gb model though. 
May upgrade the HDD in my 40gb though i some how filled it although i hardly play my ps3.

80GB, recently bought it new with Infamous for 180 euro (damaged box), wasn't planning to get 1 until they either returned the PS2 compatibility or a serious price drop, seeing as Infamous is still 50 euro here at the cheapest webshop, I figured 130  for the console would be pretty sweet, especially since Infamous was the number 1 game I wanted for the PS3 (been tracking it on GS since the 2007 E3)

I've got the 40gb, which suits me fine. All of my downloads go through my X360 anyway.

I bought the 60gb model with backwards compatability, and later replaced the harddrive with a 500gb one. 
 
I download a lot of games off of PSN and I like my demos/trailers =)

my release date ps3 will never falter :D

I bought the 40GB but immediately upgraded it to a 160GB drive.

The 60gb in my living room was stolen. The 160gb was what I could find to replace it with. The 250gb went into the entertainment center down the hall, in my home office (along with the 250gb 360) for gaming, streaming my massive movie collection, etc. I kind of wish the 250gb Slim was as quiet and cool as my old design PS3s were. It emits a whine that you can hear if everything else is turned off and it puts out quite a bit of heat.
