Professor Layton and the Curious Village is a point and click adventure puzzle game set in a charming village with enigmatic characters. Solve over 120 puzzles given to you by the villagers to help you solve the mystery of the 'Golden Apple'.
I've been playing through Professor Layton recently and there's something about him that scares the crap out of me. I'm not quite sure what it is, so I've visualized what I imagine to be the events directly prior to the start of the game:
Anyone else get this vibe? Dark room, Layton has been drinking again...Luke sitting in the corner of his room, rocking back and forth hoping tonight the Professor won't make him solve another "puzzle"...

Worst part is, I won't be able to get this thought out of my head now while playing Layton. Dude's a little too mild-mannered, if you ask me... Gotta be hiding something, right?

LOL at the picture Vinny. Don't forget, "critical thinking is the key to success." Through this critical thinking, you found out the true nature of Layton's apprentice's "puzzles".
Nonetheless, Professor Layton is awesome and you should have played it earlier, Vinny! >:(

Yeah the professors too perfect. He doesn't expose his human flawed side but he is definitely human ,everyone makes mistakes, so it seems like he's hiding a dark secret. I mean where does he go to vent his emotions >_<
There's a disgusting image I accidently saw when searching for Layton on Google images not too long ago. I won't post it here though and nor do I want to see it again.
I think he's a great character. If younger children are playing the game, I would imagine he's a good role model to teach them to be well mannered. He's the type of person that's so nice, people think that he's weird. I've heard the same in real life, but it doesn't mean your weird at all.
