Again talking about the 360 textures again, only. The PS3 version is still the same broken, busted ass, piece of fucking shit that it was before. I can completely CONFIRM this to be a fact. I was in the middle of doing the War storyline to take over Fort Greenwall for the Imperials (zomg spoilerz, fuck off it's just take over fort with troops and rinse/repeat) and the framerate when I was fighting about 10 Stormcloaks literally was in the single digits. It is completely unplayable after 2 hours. I should not have to restart my fucking system every 2 hours. I bought 2 different copies of the game, one for the PS3 and the other for the PC, and I now regret buying either. The PS3 is completely broken and the PC interface is the absolute worst I have used in a PC game for a long long time. If this game gets GOTY, even with the vast amount of content, I will rip out my hair. Games in this sort of state should NEVER be released just to stick to a gimmick date of 11/11/11. Un-fucking-acceptable.

Feel free to troll me or flame me or whatever the fuck you guys feel like doing, but you know I'm right. I love the game for the content, but this is completely unacceptable to release something in this horrid of a state. And then to release a patch that doesn't fix extremely major problems but flat out creates new ones makes it seem like they employ a fucking army of chimpanzees at times.

Paarthunax taught me Yol, led me to Dragonrend, Odahviing, and even the Sovengarde summon. The Blades gave me shitty armor that looked good, a sword that does extra damage to dragons, and helped me kill ONE normal fucking dragon when I was already killing Ancient Dragons.

Fuck the Blades. I'm glad they got hunted to the end of Oblivion.

... Magic?

I dunno. The only two weapons I personally use are the Blade of Woe and the Nightingale Bow, although I don't particularly like either. I mostly just rock Destruction spells that cost zero mana, like a fucking baws.

I really don't know why people are making a big deal about textures in a game that already looks good and you're going to be exploring through at a decent pace. Especially since it's only there if you install it to the HDD. If you're examining a rock you're doing it wrong anyway.

The framerate problems on PS3 after 2 hours or so of play, in my opinion, is a much bigger and more game breaking problem. Try fighting a dragon or group of Foresworn and then having the framerate hit single digits and take a massive shit all over you. That right there is a problem that impacts every single part of the game, from exploring to combat to trivial things like selling shit to a vendor. And it also causes texture streaming problems too, where they would load layer by layer like in Mass Effect 1 on the 360. I literally saw the cobblestone in Whiterun stream in before my eyes, each layer increasing slightly in detail.

I kind of enjoyed some of the things. Pretty much everything after Cicero leaves to flee to the Dawnstar Sanctuary is when it started to really pick up. The part where you're the gourmet is fantastic, where you kill the Emperor is hit and miss (killing him is fun, treading through the ship is not), and the torture room when you repair the Sanctuary is much needed for leveling. Most of them kind of suck though. The Companions had two interesting "Oh shit" moments. The Mages really had none at all and were by far the weakest. The Thieves guild was fun up until grinding out the same missions to become the master. I honestly like some of the random quests more, like all the Deadric quests and some of the random ones when you just enter a dungeon and end up in there for an hour before fighting a Dragon Priest that you had no idea was there.

Good. Now I can play on my Playstation properly. I have it on PC but sometimes I just want to fucking relax and play some Skyrim.

Kind of sad there's no mention about Blood on the Ice or Foresworn Conspiracy being fixed though. I've heard about Markarth being completely fucked beyond belief when doing Foresworn Conspiracy, to the point where you can't even enter the hold anymore because it's so bugged. Guards will send you straight down to the mines again regardless of if you've already done it.

Honestly if they don't fix the framerate problems I kind of want my money back for the console version of the game that I bought. I also bought it on PC, but sometimes I don't want to play hunched over a keyboard and mouse sitting a foot away from a screen. I want to sit back on a couch and put my feet up after a days work. And I can't do that with the PS3 version of Skyrim. It is completely unplayable at times, and I should not have to power down and restart every 2 hours to slightly fix the issue.

Bethesda really better get their fucking shit in gear when they test things. It's a fantastic game otherwise, but sticking to a gimmick 11/11/11 date instead of ironing out these problems with proper QA testing is absolutely unacceptable. Floating mammoths and infinite XP glitches I can accept, but not something that flat out breaks the game for a lot of players.

I like playing kind of sneaky since some areas later on can be overkill when they have 5 Draugr Overlords in them. It's broken as fuck though, especially when I can OHKO a fucking Dragon. But I would also say they shouldn't do anything to it. It's a single player game after all so let people play the way they want.

The first or second one? Both are fairly good, but the first one might turn some people off because of the complexity and most of the pacing early on. I did like the first one but I absolutely adore the second one though. It's difficult, well made, well paced, has options for how you want to go through it while still setting you on a proper path, looks amazing, and has really interesting fiction as well as fun quests for the most part. I'd get it, but if you feel you could wait for a better deal feel free to do that as well. That way you still can have your Skyrim fix but will eventually get to play another really good and complex RPG.

I might do this on my new Nord character just because I already played through it and want to be overpowered to the max.
