I guess the real question now is whether or not this will allow us to somehow add bonuses to existing weapons (i.e. make a weapon with increased accuracy).

I have a horrible habit of buying games, getting about half-way through them, and putting them in a pile somewhere.

Left 4 Dead ... but there's such a plethora of great games coming out for PC this year, it's a tough choice.

It depends on how far back you want to go... and if you like RPGs or not.

I think you can play Baldur's Gate II over LAN.
Neverwinter Nights is also a great LAN game, and it's another RPG.

Anyone have any thoughts on the PC version?

As someone that purchased Guitar Hero III on the PC (since I don't own a console), this news just about made my day.

PC, for the reasons everyone else has stated above: Mods, better control, free updates from Valve, better community, etc.

Not to mention - I don't have a 360.

The Magic Treehouse ... a crappy edutainment title from Broderbund.  No, seriously.
After that, I think it was another edutainment title ... Jumpstart First Grade.  I think my first real "game" was Star Wars: Episode One: Racer, which was not a good game by any standard.

So my PC gaming career started off pretty lame, I'm a little bit more hardcore.

 Dark Forces II: Jedi Knight is another title that comes to mind.  Great FPS.

And... "It's got a gun that shoots shurikens and lightning" .... /Yahtzee.
