Does anyone else have the issue where they keep getting kicked out of autolog like every other event in singleplayer? It's not the biggest deal to log in again, but it's kind of annoying.

I don't remember the DJ at all from Burnout 3, and I'm pretty sure I have a strong memory of DJ Atomica due to SSX 3 and not Burnout: Paradise. I guess I don't care about that part of the Burnout series.

Or worse, maybe I can talk and I'm the asshole that everyone is trying to mute.

And you would know that you were being that guy if there was any indication on the screen of who was talking, but there's absolutely nothing. The whole thing is crazy. I now play multiplayer with my computer muted. It's easier than traversing the menus to figure out who is making noise.

I'm starting to come around on this game and like it more. I still hate the cops though. I never feel skilled when I evade them in Ambush events. The rubber-banding combined with how they often come straight for me once I've gotten away and hidden like I'm some sort of homing beacon makes it always feel like luck when I do get away. I'm enjoying the rest of the single player a lot though. Only having a few specific races per car is still weird, but there are enough cars that I feel like there's still a good amount of content in the game. Going from a good faster car to a slower one isn't bothering me as much as it is other people. Also finding I can warp straight to events if I've already completed them in another car is nice.

As for the multiplayer, I'm still pretty pissed about the lack of voice options for PC, but I'm enjoying it a lot too. You need to go in with the mindset that it's more of a demolition derby game with objectives than a racing game. Even in the normal races people are going to try to ram the hell out of you. That's pretty standard for Burnout anyway. The only bad thing is that people in team races don't seem to care what team you're on. It gets annoying when people on your team ram you off the road. Overall it's a real breath of fresh air for racing games. I only wish it had been a real Burnout game so it could have better car damage and destruction.

@Sin4profit: Oh well. At least I know it's not just me missing something obvious now.

Ok, so someone tell me if I'm wrong about this and missing something stupid. I hope I am.

I'm playing on PC, and in multiplayer I'm not seeing any indication of who is talking. There's also no "mute all" button or an option to turn down volume for the people talking. There's not even a master volume slider so you can only turn down SFX and music. Mic volume is unaffected by both these options of course. So when someone is being too loud or obnoxious I have to stop driving, and go through their clunky menu person by person until I find the one I want to mute. This is how it works right? I feel like I have to at least be missing the thing that tells me who is talking in game.

If you're buying this game for a NFS:MW experience, this game probably isn't for you. If you're buying this game for a Burnout: Paradise experience this game is maybe for you, kind of? It's a weird game. I'm not sure how I feel about it yet. I haven't tried multiplayer yet so hopefully that will bring my opinion of the game up some. The thing I like the least about it is the cops. The game would straight up be a better game without them. They aren't fun to deal with at all.

They did at least fix my biggest problem with Burnout: Paradise. In that game I would either miss the little road sign that came up telling you where to turn, or not react in time for them. I ended up constantly pausing the game and having to look at the map. It broke the game almost entirely for me. They do a good job at positioning the checkpoints in this game in such a way that it's always obvious when you have to turn. And when there might be some slight confusion, big green arrows. Though for the most part they aren't needed.

A lot of people are taking what was obviously a joke twitter post way too seriously.
