Ico was pretty good.

Regardless, I will check out any survival horror game, especially one that tries something new like this. I think this game could be pretty sweet, but it could also be the worst thing ever.

I'm not sure I like it yet. I'm not a big Blitz fan being from the UK, but I like my American Football games, and I think this game isn't crazy enough. Everything seems kind of muted and slow to me. I rarely get double pass plays to work, It takes forever for the QB to pass the ball, many times I've passed to dudes off-screen in hope that their in space simply because a defender is up in my grill and there isn't any other way getting out of it, the spin and juke moves take WAY too long, and don't do enough when they do actually work.

If I sound like a Blitz noob, that's because I am, but I also think that there's no point remaking / rebooting if you're not going to overhaul it.

That and I had to go onto my USA gamertag in order to buy it, because it's not out in the UK. Why? They did this for that bobblehead MLB game, which I kinda liked, too as well as Apples to Apples. Is this due to licensing, or perceived lack of interest or what?

I hate that guy so much, but I'd like to point out that he's optional, but only if you have the Master Key / are a thief. He gives you the key to the sewers, which eventually leads to Blighttown, but if you go down to New Londo, and use the Master Key you can skip straight to Blighttown. You'd be underlevelled, but there's reason you can't just grind in that area IF you hate him so much.

For the Xbox guys, you can make a US account, go to www.gamepointsnow.com , buy a US points card, then just buy Blitz. I did it for Trenched, and it still works on your UK account for some reason. I think you have trouble matchmaking as it usually only does it region v region, but I'm not sure at the moment.

Well, there IS a choice, but you really wouldn't know it unless you look it up. To be honest, it doesn't seem too important which one you choose, except for Achievement wise. I'm not going to spoil it, but google it if you're that interested.

Well done, sir. I would say anyone who has beaten this game, by themselves or with help, deserves credit. I thought the last fight was a great fight, both in terms of mechanics and story wise. It's not a spectacle like some of the other bosses, but because of that I really liked it. The most used tactic to beat the boss is by constantly parrying him, if you've got the timing down. However, if you're confident in you're straight forward combat techniques (block, lunge, backsteps, roll aways, timing you're attacks), you can probably just go toe-to-toe with him, keeping your distance if possible if you're using a spear type weapon, and watching out for his incredibly powerful grab move. It's a much more exciting fight that way too, if you're still up for more time spent on this game.

I would say, grab you're preferred Black Knight weapon, upgrade it with twinkling titanite, and fight him head on.

Mr Kessler's opinion.

It's a poor man's Layton in that the characters are pretty much the same, but they also interact with each other the same too. But the puzzles in the game consist of crossword puzzles that you already have the answers too, reverse minesweeper, block sliding puzzles and goddam 'Spot the Difference' puzzles. Whilst you walk around ancient tombs underneath Paris. With pictures of Paris in that time period.

That and the other parts of the game are almost identical to the poetry puzzle bit in L.A. Noire, except you never get the chance to figure stuff out yourself, you just press the 'A' button and the character shows how smart he is, solves it, and then makes you walk to some other place.

So, yeah, public service announcement: Don't buy this game.

I'm around 5-6 hours, and I really really REALLY want to put this game down, because its probably the worst game I've played all year, but I was wondering with some help from other people, I might be able to not feel completely salty about paying FULL PRICE for it. Does this game get any better?

Yep the more I think about it, the more I dislike DA2.

That's pretty much my exact feeling too.

I'm not sure it would be on my 'worst' games list, simply because I thought the writing was still pretty good, characters were okay, but I reached a point in that game where I essentially became unkillable (Spirit healer with regen health maxed out), so for that alone shows the combat should have been tweaked some more. Also the sheer amount of times I would get stun-locked and then killed by mobs of lower enemies was just ridiculous.

As for the copying and pasting, I wasn't too bothered about the recycled areas, but the recycling of bosses really annoyed me. I killed two Varterrals in Dragon Age 2, in the same place as well, and one in the Witch Hunt DLC for the first game. The end boss of The Golems of Amgarrak DLC, which was supposed to be a creature made by accident in the Dwarfish mines, was slapped in for the battle against Orsino. That's just a slap in the face of the people who actually bought the DLC for the first game, thinking it was something fresh and new, only to just give to everyone later. Same as the Eluvian, that was in the Witch Hunt DLC too.

Its not the worst game this year, but it really really made me question Bioware and / or EA. The worst game this year, for me, is Doctor Lautrec and The Forgotten Knights, that game is awful. Just, awful.

You might want to check out Alien Abduction: Incident in Lake County

That's it's name! Jesus, I've been trying to remember what that film was called for weeks now. Yeah, I saw that as the McPherson Tapes in the UK, it was in the middle of the day on some movie channel, in the middle of a boring school holiday so I watched it. I liked it, for what it was.
