Yeah I think the OP has a valid complaint and stated it calmly, then immediately got overreative and immature responses like "calm down bro", and "go to another site". I do wish they played more games in general, but I understand there are downtimes. Sometimes I go awhile without playing games as well. I would like to see them try more games they normally wouldn't, as that sometimes produces their funniest content.

I would say PS3 is a better console than 360. It plays all the multiplatform games well except for a few bad ports (Bayonertta, Skyrim for awhile), plus I love the exclusive games it has like Uncharted, Infamous, MGS4, The Last of Us, etc. The PS3 can play all PS1 games, and if you have a backwards compatible PS3, it plays PS2 games too. There are also many hd remakes that improve great PS2 games. So you can potentially have the entire Playstation library available to for PS3. So if this argument is for the console with the most great games available to play, it is definitely the PS3.

This console generation is personally the first to really compel me to play more games, and my first console was the NES. The experiences I've had this generation are unrivaled with previous gens.

Bought Brothers yesterday, and Infinite a couple weeks ago. Guess I should just stop buying games then.

I was disappointed in God of War: Ascension, I didn't like the way they changed the combat and it felt kind of lifeless and unsatisfying. Also Bioshock Infinite, mainly because it was spoiled for me. I just finished it yesterday, but when it first came out I was looking on Amazon to see how the PS3 version came out and there was a thread title with the ending spoiler. I hoped that it was wrong, or I would forget it by the time I played it, but nope.

Call of Juarez: Gunslinger did not revolutionize the fps genre, but for coming out of nowhere after an absolute shit reboot (Cartel), this was a pleasant surprise. The shooting was solid, the story telling was... simple, but had an interesting twist. It was definitely fun for one sitting or two.

I agree with Call of Juarez: Gunslinger. This game is really fun with a neat dueling mechanic, upgrading system, cool Borderlands-esque artstyle, and a neat story. One of my favorites this year.

I haven't played many games from this year, as I am really behind and played a lot of older games. I bought Bioshock Infinite and Tomb Raider over Black Friday week and will play those soon. So far, GTAV is definitely my game of the year.

Here is my short list:

  1. Grand Theft Auto V
  2. Injustice: Gods Among Us
  3. Call of Juarez: Gunslinger
  4. God of War: Ascension

I really liked the movies, especially Catching Fire.

I just started playing P4A last week, so I'm most excited for the sequel I guess. Although Xrd does look fantastic, even though I have never played a GG game and will definitely suck at it. How big a studio is Arc System Works to be able to release 3 big games in one year?

@fluxwavez: I just started playing the story of this game and was wondering how important The Answer is. I completed The Journey several months ago, and read that The Answer was not worth playing through because it was all combat. Should I play it before continuing, or watch the story on youtube? I ran into some P3 characters, and it does seem that a lot has changed since the end of P3. Thanks.

- I played through the first story parts of Yu and Chie, and they were very similar. Played only the first chapter of Mitsuru and it was much more interesting.

- I found the story AI kinda difficult on normal, and had to go down to easy.
