I am definitely not a fan of the change for the Bombcast either. However, the Bombcast is, and has always been, twice as long as any other gaming podcast out there. The content on the Bombcast is not being taken away, nor is it even being lost in the first half, which is being covered for everyone. But again, I don't think this is a cool move. I am just not losing sight of the full picture.

I find it funny that this type of person always talks about how the U.S. is the BEST country in the world, then proceeds to make the excuse "Well it's not like we're any worse than those guys, they're just as bad as us!" for every heinous action an American makes. It's the perfect fit: Inflated ego, hypocrisy, and freedom of guilt! Or, how about since you're the "best country on the planet" why don't you hold yourself to a higher standing than the slaughter of innocent people?
I think it will ramp up, but to be honest I also think it's really just a bit of a primer for all the different aspects of the Whiskey Media sites to coincide with the subscription stuff.
Also, this show will go on for 8 hours or something, so unfortunately the guys will probably not keep up the great pace you're used to.
Edit: Also, most other Whiskey videos are set to music much of the time, and you can never understimate the power of music in controlling the mood of the video.
I never read live stream chat for that reason. No matter how good a chat room the Whickey guys make, it can't fix the average internet chatter of live message boards. I just enjoy the content.
I don't like the idea of splitting the Bombcast either, but I don't think what you said is fair, as if people who have medals are some sub-species of forum user. I happen to want the HD content and less ads, and I don't think anyone is any worse for not subscribing. I'm really not even a big fan of having the medal for this very reason, but I don't think that having it instantly makes my opinions moot. I'll reiterate: I don't like the Bombcast idea, but I DO like the overall package, and that's why I signed up. Since we're both still members of this website regardless of how much we paid, I would like to still share the forum boards with you.
Just did it in fact. I was initially opposed to the Bombcast thing, but seeing as how almost every other gaming podcast is just an hour anyway, I think getting something for the time put into 2 (usually 2 1/2) hours of Bombcast is something the GB crew can ask for.
