Just abide by my rule of never taking part in live chat rooms of any kind.  You will feel younger, smarter, more relaxed.  It's much nicer.

Of course now everyone will say they will subscribe, but I wonder what the number of subscribers will one year from now. "

I won't pretend like I have any answers, but I have a pretty good feeling that the current package won't be the end of the goodies.  I'm sure the Whiskies will continue to flesh out the package down the road.  But fo course, as an early adopter I could very well be wrong.

I'm hopeful, but it was a slightly inebriated promise, so I won't hold my breath.

I live in Ontario, Canada, so I don't think there's anyone near me who would have a shirt.

It was pretty good, and although it got slow in several spots I knew going in it would be a miracle to pull off interesting content for everyone for 7 straight hours non stop.  I actually think the show would have been better with a quarter of it cut off to keep the pace moving quicker, but nonetheless it was a job well done by the GB crew.  Thanks whiskies!

If a bunch of people put in just $5, 5000 can easily be reached for little cost per person.

This is all weird for both sides of the issue for me.  I don't like that they are messing with the Bombcast, and it seems odd that now they will reunite it once they get 5000 sign ups.  Soo...did they not need money for the Bombcast in the first place?  I mean, to cancel that original plan until the end of time means that the initial 5000 subscribers can't possibly cover that cost forever, correct?  If so, then how much thought was put into the Bombcast idea in the first place, that they will flip flop immediately in response to community backlash?  At the same time, it seems a good idea to respond to community input, and try to reach a compromise with the fans on the issue.  It's just odd.

I don't want to say terrible, but...  Deus Ex: Invisible War wasn't a great follow-up to the great game that Deus Ex was.  The sequel wasn't god awful by any means, but it fell very short of the precedent set by the original.
