@burningstickman: I'm not sure if a week is enough time for the EVE economy to show a trend... but in terms of the mechanics, as a newbie I like it. I do plan to do a lot more of it, especially with cloak ships. Get dem nullsec bluepreeeents. Consensus is that because it exposes ore mining sites that means mining has become more risky, which could theoretically drive prices up.
Oh yeah, I wasn't expecting a complete breakdown, just if the returns from a single salvaging run/grabbing whatever shoots out of the hack boxes were matching up roughly with a single trip to the rocks. I guess I'll find out for myself soon enough!
So when an Ubisoft or an EA comes to Microsoft and says they want a broadband internet requirement and heavy restrictions on the sale, loaning, or renting of games, what power do they actually have in that discussion? Why does Microsoft need to just bow to their demands? Are the publishers going to stop selling games on consoles? Doubtful. This is a relationship in which both sides need each other.
Works the other way though. What good is your Xbox without games to play on it? You'd have to focus on other areas, like TV... and movie streaming.... and sports......

So it only applies to Microsoft published games. EA is still free and clear to fuck you, and the infrastructure stands by ready and willing.
@mewarmo990: The offer's open to anybody really, so it's something we could do. You'd need to get Empire guys on The Harbinger to at least level 10 I guess to get off the starter planets.
Server transfers are supposed to hit on the 11th. Seriously considering porting my Jedi 50 over to Harbinger, especially if someone else is getting in on this. Can help out with your Republic characters as well. If this successfully gets going, might be worth starting a new topic. I'd imagine more would be interested if they knew about it.
