At first, I thought Fighting is Magic would take it easily. Then Skullgirls started to take a very convincing lead, and I thought there was no way Melee could catch up. Now Melee is several thousand higher than Skullgirls and Fighting is Magic. This is craaazy. I'm happy that I'd be happy with any of these games taking the 8th game slot.
Everyone is obviously very supportive of their fighting game of choice. It's fun to watch. I hope something gets ahead of the MiP fighter by the end so it doesn't even get a separate tourney. Such a dumb concept (albeit hilarious)
EDIT: Holy fucking balls Melee obtained like $10,000 overnight, that's impressive! Some people must have REALLY wanted it at EVO

Well, it DOES allow you to just fight with a single character, and it balanced it pretty well I'd say.
Absolutely ridiculous to see that Skullgirls is not included on there, while MK9 is still there. What crap, I love MK9 as much as the next guy, but competitively it's just not up to par with the other games.
Such a bummer that game doesn't get the attention it deserves.
EDIT: Actually I take that back, MK9 is far better than SFxT. Why the hell is that game still played at all to ANY capacity?
I think it's interesting to see them try and do the 3D effects in a "real" Pokemon game (excluding some of the atrocious Gamecube/N64 games). They could do a lot worse I feel. The 2D does still look great, but I think that the new 3D visuals accent the new Pokemon better than it would for some of the earlier generations. I mean, everyone by now knows they started getting a little bonkers with the design, and frankly I hated the way they were looking.
With the new visual style I don't mind the new Pokemon designs and such (so far at least).
It's hard not to agree with Adam Sessler. He always seem to reflect how I feel about games along with many others I'm sure. He was the only thing that kept X-Play up back in the day.
On DmC's note, I don't own it but I have a friend who was hyped as hell for it and he let me try it today. This kind of game isn't really my forte unless it's Platinum Games, so I didn't like it much. Not that it was bad, though.
Anyone looking forward to Psycho Pass? I saw the trailer and it looks like it has some amazing animation. Not sure if it's started yet or not.
It's been airing for a while. Episode 3 aired a few days ago. Personally, I think it's just okay. It's Production I.G. so the animation definitely a far cry away from being anything close to subpar, but it doesn't blow me away either.
Yeah, honestly I tend to watch anime after they're over so I don't have to deal with waiting unless I want to. cause of that I lose track of where they are in progress.
