BTW, I'm loving this game =D

Whenever I start up the game (PC) It tell me there is a new version available and if I want to download it. I click "yes" and it tell me that I can't find it/connect to retrieve it and if I want to play the version I have. I click "yes" and loads the game.

Anyone else run into this?

I think the only ramifications I have run into is that I can't see any servers in the server browser but I can click "Play Now" and it'll shoot me into a game.

If anyone knows how to fix it, please let me know. thnx

yeah this sounds like a virus or general corruption

regardless, just boot from the install CD of Windows (recommend Win 7) and install that way. If you want to save anything back it up prior to booting from disk. Then Install Windows again.

How old is this Laptop?

Lmao all thought it would be pretty awesome, you can't really fit in it 7 video cards.

The max SLi you can do right now is quad, and besides, if you've got money for this, you're probably getting GTX260s and up, which are all sual-slot coolers. Therefore you can technically max out this board at Quad-SLi.

However don't get me wrong, that's still plenty beast.

No case for it, either. I have to wonder how a project like this even gets funding. There's a lot of incredible engineering going on here, but I can't imagine them producing or selling many of these. It's not exactly a server machine, so that lumps it into the consumer workstation market, where it is probably far too expensive to even think about. "
Actually, I think there is, I'm pretty sure that the Corsair 800D can fit this.

....

I mean, Both of these games have some of the best story lines in gaming imo. and yes i've looked at all of those ME2 dev diaries and the interviews that occured in G4's X-play yesterday and I agree. As of now Bioshock 2 hasn't really had any hype...

I realyl was in love with the first iterations of both of these titles. I've looked at previews and read lots of stuff on both and both have me super hyped.

Now I can't really get both because at the moment I only have money for one.  So im really in a pickle here.

As of today I was kind of tipped towards Bioshock 2 since Steam has it on sale for $45 if you pre-order (and I don't really care for getting the 2st Bioshock with that since I already have it).

Quoted for truth.  Just offer keyboard and mouse support on the 360 at this point and you've got exactly what the PC version will be. "
Don't worry, the day before release we'll hear you have to use a 360 controller on PC. "

" i could see more people sticking to COD4's multi player. i actually wanted to upgrade my PC just so i could play games like COD4 with PC benefits like insane 40 player matches and cool mods. this is a bad move on their part, but i can't really judge right now. we'll just have to wait and see how IWnet turns out.  "

yuo should check out my other post on post-MW2 failure in MP component:

hey you guys just went on TheFeed on G4tv.com and flipping Activision says this BS:

"We're of course watching this very carefully and paying attention it it, but we're not overly concerned about it," said Activision Publishing head Michael Griffith. "One of the problems of our PC [versions] on this title in the past is that it has not been as friendly a consumer experience in terms of matchmaking and online play as the consoles have allowed it to be. Our solution here improves that consumer experience overall by a significant margin, so we we think the benefits that we will see are gonna far outweigh any negatives that seem to be surfacing."

This is complete ludicrous, watching things carefully my ass. Can they not see that everyone is perfectly capeable of using a server browser and that they're last game was completely perfect??
