Well, I have done one of these every other year so why stop now? There are a crazy amount of fighting games coming out this year, and yet no signs of two of my personal favorites: Soul Calibur 6 and Marvel vs Capcom 4. Anyway, these are my most anticipated games for 2016 as of January 1st, 2016.

Last time I played a King of Fighters game was about a decade ago. I have been itching to play one of these for a while now.
I absolutely loved the first Rocketbirds. The game was originally set for release in 2014 but has gotten delayed numerous times. Heres hoping it actually comes out this year.
I really liked Borderlands, and this looks like that cranked up to 11.
There has yet to be a David Jaffe game that I did not enjoy playing.
I was more than a little disappointed when they revealed that the roster wasn't going to be limited to fighting type Pokémon only. Then they announced Charizard and Sceptile as playable characters and I was back on board.
Street Fighter has never really been my cup of tea but who knows, maybe this one will click with me.
I am also not really a Tekken guy but at this point I will take anything to fill that Marvel vs Capcom void in my heart.
This is here because of the Marvel Battlegrounds set releasing in the spring. Power Stone: Marvel Edition sounds pretty great to me.
I really liked the first Lego Marvel game. If this is just more of that I will be happy.
I only ever played the first two Ratchet and Clank games back on the PS2. With this one being a reboot it seems like the perfect spot to jump back in.
I have always wanted to play one of these games but for one reason or another I never get around to it. Maybe this year I will finally see what all the fuss is about.
It looks like a nice platformer.
If it wasn't for Platinum's involvement this wouldn't be on my list. Every time they show it it kinda looks like poo.
I know nothing about this other than the art style is nice and the E3 trailer was intriguing.
At this point I just want to know what the hell this is even about.
I'll probably play it eventually to see how the story concludes but I feel like I have had my fill of Nathan Drake and it bums me out that Naughty Dog wasted years making this instead of literally anything else.
