@MooseyMcMan: It's actually not that bad at all.

The game it self is dark/gray most of the time so it blends well.

Seeing the glasses are light green and light pink, it only add's a slight hue to the game but does not hinder it at all.

It adds a really fun depth to the game, that for this game and Arkham Asylum, was a big factor to why I enjoyed it in the first place (as horrible as that sounds, trust me it's not what you think).

It's always something you can turn off, but it's always worth giving it a chance.

And I really don't get how people can hate 3D in the theaters, you're watching the same movie, but with more POP and depth.

It's not like the color is distorted or anything, I think there are a lot of nay sayers out there just getting on the band wagon because it hurts their head too much, or because they think it's cool to just hate it like some other people when they've never even experienced it.

I have no idea how the catwoman code goes, haha.

Was it with ALL copies of the game at launch? I wasn't sure.

But hey, who knows. It's worth a shot, I think this Robin looks cool, of course I'm the only dude in the world who thinks Robin is cool.

Me = Fail

For those of you who are 3D junkies like myself (and there aren't many of us out there that are)

I figured I would let you know that Batman: Arkham City is 3D compatible with not only real 3D TV's but with the same glasses that were included with the GOTY Arkham Asylum.

They do not advertise this clearly in/on the game, but I thought i'd let a few people that would care, know.

I think it's a neat effects and when a pair of good surround sound headphones, you dive into the game even more this way.

If you don't have those glasses, any pair of pink/green 3D glasses will do. (but only pink/green ones).

Enjoy!

That would be because my copy of the game came with TWO extra Catwoman codes!

So I figured I could get rid of one, still keep a part of the story and the extra DLC, plus get the Robin outfit.

Double score!

I have a PS3 and a 360 but I'm more of a PS3 guy, but I love the Microsoft exclusives like Gears and Halo.

But anyways, I picked up RAGE for the 360 after almost getting it for the PS3 because it allowed the "full" install, versus the PS3's 8 gig install which may attribute to the lag in graphics (but certainly not they way they look, because regardless of normal belief, the PS3's lack of GPU memory is made up in raw processing power).

I did both, I played the game for about a hour without a install of the game, I have a 4 gig xbox so I went out about picked up a cheap $15 USB 16gig flash drive and installed 1 disc at a time and it fixed major graphic pop up's and sound issues, for the most part. (best $15 i've ever spent!)

Though it certainly still does have noticeable pop up's but it's not nearly as bad as when it runs off the disc alone.

It all comes down to a matter of preference, I'm sure id is working their asses off trying to fix all the pop up issues but I'm also sure that they are limited by the abilities of EACH console and while the PS3 has the pure power to be a work horse, Sony doesn't allow bigger installs than the 8gig they got away with so we'l never get a full fix on that platform, but on the other hand the 360 doesn't have the muscle for a path to fix all the issues, just some...but at the same time they allow over 8 gig installs.

It's a catch 22 situation and it really comes down to a matter of preference and while I'm enjoying the 360 version a lot, this game is rater addicting and easy so a quick platinum trophy could easily be done (with the right amount of time) so it makes the PS3 version better in that sense.

But it all comes down to you, which system do YOU want to play it on? When you decide, go out and just buy it...who really cares seeing the games are pretty much identical (with a few shadow texture differences that look better on the PS3)

Haha that's old school "slow mo" cheating!

But shit, the last round always gets me too.

I must have been like 2 moves away from finishing one time as it went on for forever, but I'm surely going to use the old pause trick.

That and EVERY time I stab one of my fingers it always makes me go "ouch" inside for some reason, haha

Disc 3 is only or multiplayer and you'll know when you're suppose to swap disc, trust me.

Has the authority invaded Wellspring yet? As in, searching for you? And have you met the Resistance yet?

If so, you're about almost there or swapping the disc, but if you haven't...you still have a little ways to go.

Also get Romero back for making the game part of it rather than Willitz.

Sure, because Romero has such a stellar track record.

Agreed, although I love the man to death....John couldn't take on a true AAA title at this point in time in his life.

That and he was responsible for making "maps" in the other levels, not the ground breaking stuff that Carmack and the rest of the team did.

John just had an image back then, sure the level design was great but his track record as since then, plummeted.

But that doesn't mean in any way shape or form that he's a BAD developer, he would have to been involved in the industry and it's evolution with each passing platform and he has more or less, jumped here and there with whatever project has came about.

The industry as a whole is 100% different now than it was then, while his name on something may be a valuable asset, when it comes down to making a game...he would be best left as a design type person, who gives ideas and doesn't make them and in the end I could see major clashing going on between people if he jumped on the boat.

Read "Masters Of Doom" @SomeJerk and you will see what I mean.

Because my statement surely isn't negative in any way what so ever. If anything, it's positive.
