I don't know, I was happy with the ending but it wasn't as epic as people made it out to be.

I can think of fights in the past that were more epic than the ending of the game and I feel as if the final fight didn't live up to the sheer epicness/crazy stuff that has happened through out the series.

While surely it was good, it just didn't take the cake like I was hoping...that and they didn't really get into why the locust would die and just said "oh yeah and they'll die too from the bomb".

I feel as if it was kind of rush and surely we'll see another game in the series but I think it'll be based on earlier events before Gears 1.

I was hoping for a few more "scary" moments in the game too, I mean sure the zombie like humans were intense but I mean come on...remember the corpser part when your lights go out and it's eye's light up along with 2 others? That was intense and I wanted more moments like that...and lastly I felt as if the ending fight was too long to keep repeating itself over and over and over but when the other enemies started piling in, it became a struggle to even stay alive and surely made it insanely chaotic.

It was a good ending and Dom's death was perfect, the music, the mood...it was just perfect.

The only thing I'm bummed about is the detachment from Dom through out the story for pretty much the entire first half of the game...the past two games focused on Mark and Dom heavily but this one made me feeling that Dom was just "another character" in the game...which bummed me out.

Let me start off by saying that i've had about 4-5 xbox's since the release of the system.

I get tired of my console over time and stay playing my PS3 which eventually was upgraded to a new slim model.

I've always enjoyed the Gears series but never became really involved with the online portion, hell I never even played horde mode on Gears 2.

Anyways, after Gears 3 came out I saw a bunch of very positive reviews and while I normally don't pay great attention to reviews (I mean after all, RAGE had very mixed reviews but I think it's an awesome game) I still really wasn't interested in picking up an xbox again.

Then I started seeing all the cool things they were coming out with to celebrate the games release, the xbox, the Tritton headsets controllers, etc.

And for the first time in my life, I was sold just on the sheer radness of all the accessories that were coming out.

So I ponied up about bought a Gears 3 xbox, the limited edition (after I sold my extra copy), the 7.1 surround sound Tritton headphones (I have a pair of AX Pro's already and these are better in the sense of being more clear sounding) and I can easily say that I am in heaven.

Microsoft and Epic went together and created this amazing little thing they have going on for Gears 3 right now and I'm pretty bummed that Sony never does anything like this for their flagship games.

I can gladly say that I'm fucking in love (no homo) with this game and the online features, Epic hit the ball out of the park with this and when you combine the entire experience of all the items together, it just makes it all the better and more immersive for the player.

This is purely a rant from a PS3 fanboy saying thank you xbox, you made me a believer again...but this doesn't mean I'm getting rid of my PS3!!!

I'm only a level 14 and it's locked for me, I honestly don't think that it was ever unlocked..of course I have a record with the past 2 gears games...so maybe it's for newbies only?

It's kind of confusing....but it's a great thing for people who are new to the game because normal matches can be pretty brutal to people who aren't seasoned.

I think I grabbed one of these at a earlier time then new londo, I can't remember though.

And chill on the random killing of NPC's!

Hahaha, so many accidentally kill NPC's because they all look so shady, I wonder how many people have killed the guy who sells stuff right after you ring the first bell?

But accidents do happen, no biggie...well it is, if you killed someone of importance.

But after you kill the Queen and descend down the stair case, there is a secret opening where one of the guys with egg's on his back will upgrade pyromancer stuff too.

And I think he sells stuff like that also.

If only that kid would "leave" that bonfire, he might be able to have that owl respawn back in it's location!

Haha, I look at this and I think it too and I''m going through so many things in my head on how to handle enemies, etc.

It's funny how this game makes you think, for real.

It makes you look at EVERY one of the things besides the boy on there and think "everything is out to get me"

Not sure if it's been said but you CAN check how many souls you have left, once you level up (you'll see a thing on the bottom of the top left part of your screen where your available souls are at, it will say "REQ SOULS" it ONLY pops up when you go to level up and will inform you how much you will need next for the next level.

If I hear one more person complain about the goddamn online I'm going to kill myself.

ESPECIALLY when they compare it to Demons Souls.

This is DARK SOULS, NOT DEMONS SOULS II.

The people from FROM SOFTWARE said in themselves "it's important people know this is not a sequel".

You always have to take into account that with Demons Souls they had expected way less people than they got (remember the notices about online shutting down, and then getting extended over and over and over?).

Back then they had only a couple of servers, so there was far more activity, this time they planned for the future and made more servers so it now FEELS like it isn't inhabited by more people.

However, they also did this on purpose for a few reasons and you can buy certain things in game that will make notes, bloodstains, etc show up more.

That and notes, etc correspond with the level of character you're playing with (at times) too.

Over time the servers will fill up more and there will be much more activity but until then, get use to it. STOP COMPLAINING (because it's 90% xbox cry babies bitching about how it's broken because it doesn't use multiplayer like EVERY other game out there).

Dark Souls isn't a MMORPG man, it's meant to be a single player experience WITH multiplayer elements and experiences.

That and when comparing it to Demons Souls and the nexus and how players went in and out of areas (there were a lot of "main roads people would travel on, versus in Dark Souls it's EVERYWHERE you can travel) so you are very naturally not going to see a lot of activity in such a stretched out place.

Think about this...and I've had success joining games, etc....people always forget about the whole "being human" is important in the game and just want to complain about anything and everything.

If you wanna hate so much and know so much about how the game should be, maybe you should go to school for what you're bitching about or contact From Software with your "genius" plan and obviously if it's worth it, they'd give a shit.

But in the end I'll trust the developers of this great game when they say that the "multiplayer" needs to be a certain way for the experience.

I'm not hating on anyone in particular and I didn't even read the topic starters grief he/she wrote about but I'm speaking on the stuff I've seen over the past few day's and how annoying it's become.

I'd like to see if people in Japan are whining so damn much about it too, because I doubt it.

You should be happy with what you have and the only thing you can do is to structure your feedback into a well organized plan and contact From Software for future releases/patch ideas.

I'm pretty sure magic works too? I might be wrong though, I know you have to be cursed to fight them though.

BUT just because you have to be cursed, doesn't mean you have to take the health penalty.

Yeah, I repair things like crazy.

I'm not sure if I want to keep the stone armor I have on or take the elite knight armor and just put it to +5 each piece or something.

Ugh, man...I love this game but I just don't want to make the wrong choices and be screwed later in the game when the going really gets tough!

I hate having to ask a thousand questions, lol

Alright one last question, how do I avenge the death of the woman who helped keep the bonfire lit at the firelink shrine?
