I use grenades to kill people I can't see, deal damage to groups of enemies, or hit people while I'm running away from them. I don't use grenades to take a break from shooting while I have ammo left, especially if I'm then not going to take that break.

I remap my keys in a way that works for me, but that I don't hear people talking about. It's designed so that the left hand/keyboard controls movement and the right hand/mouse is for actions. Middle mouse button is reload, the left side button is use/interact and the right side button is flashlight/melee. The only exception is if both melee and flashlight are available, in which case melee gets priority on the mouse and flashlight gets put on F. I never have to stop moving or move my fingers awkwardly around the keyboard to reload or interact with anything.

It was okay the first few times. I think the original Modern Warfare is probably the most I've spent playing one of those games. But for the last few Call of Duty games I played, I found myself wanting an option to just pay to unlock everything. I knew what loadout I wanted and I didn't want to grind for twenty hours to get there. Maybe if everything was unlockable and you could use an unlock token on each thing you wanted it would be okay. Also, I've never prestiged in any game.

I had one generation which only made it one battle farther than the last, which made me realise that the limits on levelling makes for a very linear progression. By which I mean each player's nth generation will reach about the same point as any other. Unless I'm playing it wrong. But I just got my first golden magikarp and it reeled me back in.

I bought P4G because of the Endurance Run. I'd be interested in P5 if they let me see more of what the combat's like.

Once, in school, there was this kid who fell over and his shoe fell off and everyone was laughing at him. Then he started crying. I think about him a lot.

There was a creche (the British version of a creche) where they had a row of a few video games and there was Super Mario Land and Aladdin for either the SNES or the Genesis. I think there were some others that I don't remember. I feel like I remember it being in a dark lower area of a soft-play thing. Also there was a water cooler with really cold water and conical paper cups.

Drew said he found it, but I can't see it anywhere. I'm in the UK, though.
