I thought it was pretty tricky at points and those escaped convicts in the car were pretty much the most annoying thing ever, but overall it was a great game.
I don't understand how he could view the film is this way, Hit-girl's up bringing isn't portraited as a positive thing in the film, I mean it's funny that it's so bizarre to see the girl do these things and act this way, but the violence itself is rarely played for laughs. (Major spoilers below)
For example the first time you see Hit-girl take on a group of villians Kick-Ass is huddled in the corner, obviously disturbed at what she's doing. At the end of the film all of the characters abandon their superhero identities for the very reason that it's a violent and horrible life to live, there's even a scene where a friend of big daddy begs him to stop this lifestyle as he sees what has become of him. He's portrayed as a broken man who is not doing the right thing.
Most of the humor comes from the fact that being a 'superhero' wouldn't work in real life, I don't get how he can miss the point that much.
I quite enjoyed MW2, I'm just a bit bored of it now because there aren't any new game modes to play and I've exhausted most of the online options (can't get the new maps at the moment since money is quite tight)
Even though I've gone back to playing all the different forge maps and stuff on halo 3 now I don't have any particular ill will against MW2 apart from that they probably should have done a beta before it launched so they could have found more of the glitches.
I was sad to see Johnson die in Halo 3, he wasn't a particularly deep or clever character but he was enjoyable to have around in the halo games and it was a shame to see him go.
If you want some arcade games I'd recommend 'Splosion Man, Alien Hominid, Castle Crashers (though you may want to wait for the PSN version) and the Maw
I know you said Fable 2 doesn't seem like your kind of game, but you can download the first episode of the game for free if you wish to give it a go anyway.
9, it was a fun adventure with some interesting characters (not saying the other games didn't have those things, it's just personally I enjoyed this world the most)
