Games I've Played in 2011
A running list of every game I've played in Twenty-Eleven....
A running list of every game I've played in Twenty-Eleven....
Got it for Xmas, finished it by the 2nd Jan!
Pure genius. And finished, now.
Pure mental.
Watched the film on Blu-Ray, and the game is great, but very tough.
An on line game I can actually play!
Oh this is terrible. Just terrible. Even for the £2 I paid for it.
I bought this for the points, and it's a pretty solid 7/10. The combat is a bit laborious, mind you.
The new Mac App version. Harder than the iPad version.
Surprisingly good.
So far, so good!
Who can resist a wee spot of Zombie blasting?
Mac Version
Mac Version.
XBLA - only really playing Final Fight. Just like 1988 again. Best played in original arcade recreation mode.
Great game! Very atmospheric, I love it.

Best menu music ever?
Strangely compelling. Very excited about Dead Space 2
92.8 % complete, it says. In 67 hours. Only the blue canisters to go.
I really like it. Finished it last year, but the achievements seem reachable. And the kids like it.
So good. Finished, on Normal. I went straight back into a New Game , to start mopping up the achievements.
It was free. It's nonsense, but the kids like it!
So hard. But so good.
iPad version. The kids love it.
Half price on XBLA sale. It's a great concept, and I like the Glaswegian 'buddy' character, but it's all just a bit 'loose'. Not terrible, but just a bit annoying. The combat, particularly. It would have been better as a straightforward puzzle-platform-adventure, I reckon.
Cheesy. Thank heavens they've let us jump now. Only played 2 levels, pretty good, but certainly no Shadow Complex. Which I might go back and play again, actually.
Playing through world 2 with son #1 at the moment.
The kids love it. I have to keep dipping in to help them out with the tougher levels.
Great so far. Ninja Theory have managed to get some real feeling into the relationship between Monkey and Trip. The game clearly owes a lot to Prince of Persia, but so far I'm enjoying it.
iPad version
iPad version.
It's cliche, it has loads of entirely un-neccesary language, but it's great.
iPad version.
A surprisingly good racing game, bought ostensibly for the kids, but entirely playable.
XBLA HD version. But it's annoying. I can't invert the y axis without inverting the x axis. Annoying as Hell.
Mario Kart. In a Focus RS.
Son #2 wanted to play it. I just noticed that there's LOADS of screen tearing when played at 1080p. Flawed, but better than the sequel.
It's tough to get into, but I'm going to give it a go, I think.
I played a lot of this over the Xmas holidays, with Dan. Might try to push on for the full 1000...
Meh. The boys like it, though.
Surprisingly difficult achievements. But I'm on the way through them.
This is an Alias for Dead Space 2: Severed DLC. Great little DLC. Loved the ending. More please.
This is free! And it's rubbish! But free GS points all round!
What a great game. My choice for GoTY 2010. Played Arrival DLC today. A great piece of DLC to lead into ME3. Can't wait for the threequel.
This is to represent the Da Vinci disappearance DLC for Ass-Cree-Bro
iPad version. Surprisingly playable!
iPad version, which is pretty good, actually.
I've neglected this a fair bit, but back to it, and it's the completionist's dream
How good is this game? I mean. Seriously? Best game of 2011? Might just be.
This really isn't that bad at all. The decision to have the Batman-esque detective vision with the smart phone is odd, and a bit out of keeping with the run and gun style of the game, and they've stolen takedowns from Splinter Cell, but I like it.
Still trying to get those 1000 sharks.
JEdg 1 has a copy - I got to play a wee bit. It's good. Very good.
Manic. More manic than any other fighting game ever. And a ludicrously hard end boss. But I liked it.
Never seen the cartoon, but the game was.... OK for kids.
Great game, of course.
XBLA version of the Dreamcast classic.
Finished this now, and on to the DLC.
It's on Facebook, and totally addictive.
Mac version. Too addictive.
One day, I'll get the level 240 achievement...
XBLA version. Lots of loot. Great stuff.
One of my most played games. I know most reviews are thoroughly "meh" but I like both games.
Played this a fair bit, to help the boys. I should play some by myself, get the full 1000.
Not sure why I played this...
Great game. Thoroughly enjoyable. On-line is tough, but the campaign was great. Might do it again on a higher difficulty....
Finished it 2 years ago, but the boys wanted to play it.
Great. As good as Asylum? Objectively better, but Asylum felt like more of a bolt out of the blue, and I think I prefer it.
Played at JEdg's place. It's a lot better than the garbage a few down....
I really want to love this. I loved DR when it came out, but I can't get into it. It's very hard, with little help from the AI. Hmmm.
Great game. Tough, though. I'm playing it as a stealthy character, which makes it even more difficult. But I'll stick with it.
PW lent be this ages ago, and I never got around to playing it. It's pretty good, all in all. It tool ages to stop playing as though it was Gears 3, though. All in all I think I prefer Gears. I might try to find a cheap copy of Reach though....
Hellishly choppy on my iPad 1. Need one of those iPad 2s then, don't I? Works great on my new iPhone 4S, though!
4 player fun with the boys.
Oh dear. There's 100 hours of my life about to disappear, then....
Xmas Present
