I feel like the people complaining about not having a movelist on launch to reference constantly weren't going to actually play this game longer than maybe a week regardless of what features it did have. IF you were so dedicated to getting into fighting games as a newbie and learning, I think you would have done so with older fighting games by now.

It's unfortunate they didn't have a feature that is somewhat useful, but the fact they traded it for the sake of better gameplay on launch sounds like a vastly superior decision to me. ESPECIALLY since it's been said the missing features would be added later.

Didn't these guys like fire jeff isn't that the entire reason gaintbomb even exists in the first place?

From what I gathered from a few "Jar Time"s and I think Bombcasts, no. Not necessarily.

Jeff had plans to make his own 'thing' for a while and it happened to coincide with his termination. Which gave him the perfect opportunity to create GB.

Him getting fired may have given him more incentive, but I highly doubt its the entire reason.

Remember how boring Zimos got after a little while?

Imagine that but worse. That's why it was cut.

No, because the game wasn't that long, so he never had a chance to get boring.

Plus Zimos outright disappears from the story once STAG arrive anyway, so the joke (being Zimos himself basically) never wore too thin. Kinzie on the other hand... fucking despised her. The whole snooty, arrogant techo-geek shtick did nothing but burn me every time she appeared.

Glad I wasn't the only one who hated her.

I know posting in this thread is kinda pointless now that the game released. I don't have it yet though, I only just got to play the demo.

After about a half an hour I got 2:12 on the race event, and around 14.6 million on the trick it event. After seeing people getting 50 million and under 1:50 I don't feel as good as I thought I was. At least it was fun.

I can't confirm but i'm guessing it's going to be console friends based like it is in the demos.

An HD port is cool, but I'd rather have a sequel after all these years. Especially since I still own a working Dreamcast and the original game.

Soooo..... I have Photoshop, painter, gimp, and various other paint programs that came with my 3D softwares.. and I have a cintiq 21ux... Why would I have ever wanted this on my PS3 or whatever the hell it was on, THQ. PAINT seemed better then this back in the day. Good job THQ suffer the consequences of not being awesome.

This was never marketed toward the 'serious' artist. Especially since it was being made for a limited power version of a PC with a set of casual and kiddie games. If you have a Cintiq of all things why SHOULD you want this?

How could you productively model and render things at all on a PS3, Xbox or Wii anyway?

The Wii shows how behind the times Nintendo really is with this one.

After reading a bunch of these posts, I see a lot of people saying the story was a little lack luster. I thought it was alright, but it did feel unfinished compared to 2. I also had some frustration during combat parts due to dying all the time from enemies seeming like they're appearing behind me, or getting bombarded by dead eyes with RPGs/Grenade Launchers. I'm a little anxious to play on Crushing for that trophy.

This game was really great, but I think Naughty Dog spent most of their efforts trying to get all that Multiplayer Content into the game, forcing the Story to nearly take a back seat. I think it's cool ND wants to really improve the Uncharted multiplayer, I think its great fun and pretty refreshing in a sea of FPS console shooters. I just hope if they make an Uncharted 4 they focus more on getting that great storytelling back from 2, while keeping that really nice UC3 MP mode for afterward.
