If you want a review right now, it will be based on two-thirds of the game and would get a pretty low score. Without the online, that game ain't so hot.

Congrats. It seems pretty cool so far, but I'm going to have to retrain myself to quickly pull up a game's list of achievements and some other stuff like that.

Being able to install games to the hard drive and play them without listening to the loud-ass disc spinning is probably the best part.

For the record, that's not our logo in the game.

Smooth tips. I thought about saving the game before hitting the key levels and trying to tweak my karma. Actually, I do have some hard saves at various spots in the game, I might have one somewhere around level 13 I could use...

Anyway, to adjust your spoilery tip, if you talk to Moira and start that quest before taking out that town, she'll appear in the rubble next time you visit. You can talk to her for a bit and she'll eventually relocate to Rivet City. I didn't do things this way, but I'd guess that you could still complete her quest that way.

I would just like to remind you to vote early and vote often!

Vote Bombcast!

(also, I heard that the 1up guys ritualistically murder a kitten before every episode. you'd honestly support that? are you some kind of monster?)

I really like the discussion here, and thanks for really exploring both sides of the issue.

Keep in mind that there's no reason why the text on the page can't cover both sides of this guy's life, with an "As Vader" and "As Anakin" split, if you so desire.

Ultimately, it comes down to this: the dude is one dude. We don't have separate pages for every version of Link, we don't have pages for every version of Mega Man (like MegaMan.EXE, and so on), and ideally, this will let us have one really good Darth/Anakin page, instead of two shorter pages that reference each other.

Think of this page as the ultimate resource for Darth Vader/Anakin Skywalkier in games. Tell his life story as a bio, referencing the different games he's appeared in over the years to support the article.

Also, for the record, we went with Darth Vader as the main title because he came "first" in the real world sense. The search alias is already in place.

Agreed, he should be in here for his in-game appearance in whatever that political game was, but he shouldn't be attached to the EA games he advertised in.

Tonight (meaning early tomorrow morning). Need to check on a planned site outage, though, just to make sure it won't interfere.

"He was given thanks in the Guitar Hero II credits. However, I checked a cached version of the page and it made no mention of that. It lists no games, but also goes on to claim that Ryan works for ArenaNet and was first credited in Mega Man 9. That's just plain wrong."
Ryan (our Ryan, anyway) wasn't actually thanked in the GHII credits. Since he has no credits, he has no page.

The game has a lot of tutorials for the create mode, many of which are mandatory. I'd recommend that you play through that stuff first, try your hand at creating a few levels, and then consider buying the guide if you're still having trouble.

A walkthrough for the single-player seems kind of needless (the story mode levels are really easy), though if you want to have every single material and item at your disposal, you'll have to find every little hidden thing in the story mode. That's... not so easy.
