It sounds like its a step back for the series - really more of the same. After the progress that was made in Shift and Hot Pursuit, its not such a bad thing. Sometimes its good to go back to the basics, and The Run just suffers from a lack of options. It still offers insane speed and thrills. Hopefully a patch will open the game up a little more.

I would have no doubt that as development continues and that servers are prepped and the beta helps inform decisions made on graphical abilities we'll see the graphics become more eye-popping.

Being both a student and an irregular gamer, I choose not to pay for a service I won't use all that often. But like you said, Giant Bomb is a business. They have expenditures of their own, and they need to eat sometimes. So paying for the service should entitle you to a few perks, and if you're unwilling to pay for that, than you really don't have a leg to stand on, right? There's still a massive wealth of content for you to enjoy regardless.

Well, the most recent film I saw at the cinema was "Crazy. Stupid, Love". I enjoyed the film enough to actually write a review of it. But probably the best experience I've had in a cinema was with an old girlfriend and the film was Lord of the Rings: Fellowship of the Ring. Quite a fan of the LOTR stories, she did plenty to keep me distracted. It was very exciting.

I bought The Sims 3 Pets on PC from Origin, as a pre-order. The incentive was that I would get one of the Stuff Packs for free as a bonus. I paid, I have the receipt, and I don’t have my Stuff Pack. I have my Pets expansion, but I still feel like I didn’t get what I ordered. Especially considering it was actually cheaper to buy it at retail.

Mass Effect 3 is incoming. And it looks to summarise the galaxy on the brink of total destruction. It appears to sum up the Commander Shepherd experience nicely. But what next? The universe is almost certainly capable of having an MMO set into it, there are already 3 novels (and a fourth currently being penned), not to mention an anime film and a major motion picture, there is a 3rd four-part comic book series currently being released, and there are numerous other tie in merchandise - and likely there will be post release content for ME3. So with so much at stake - will EA turn their back on the series? I dont think so. But what will this entail? A continuation of the storyline (like what Halo is doing with Halo 4), a spin off series (such as the Battlefield Bad Company titles), or perhaps even the MMO I mentioned earlier. If Mass Effect were to continue after ME 3 - what seems most likely to you? And what would you want out of the future of the Mass Effect franchise?

I remember how Liara T'Soni gave a great deal of information on how the Asari breed, their homeworld and matingn rituals, their religion - I feel that they were best explained. So I really like them. However, I have to go with Krogan. They may be a warlike and primitve race, though they do have honour and respect - and seem to be one of the most hardest hit of the various races.

@Moncole

Sounds to me like this isn't the game for you. If similar games aren't of interest, and you already are feeling bored by the title, I'd suggest not continuing. Unfortunately, the gameplay doesn't pick up until after the Citidel, where you get the chance to make your own choices, have more freedom, and more powers. If you are looking for a more action oriented experience, the second title might be more interesting to you - it is definitely more action geared, but still has a deep story. If you are after a more japanese style RPG, might I recommend Xenoblade Chronicles for the Wii.
