@Warskull: Exactly. Do people who already have Playstation 3s want to play games with motion control after spending years playing them with controllers? Will the casual market pony up nearly 400 dollars for an HD version of what they're already getting with the Wii, even if the motion sensing is more in-depth? Do the people who bought Wii's care at all about HD graphics? I just don't think these people care enough about games in general to make that kind of investment, especially when they don't have the kind of association with 'family' entertainment as Nintendo does. I don't know if Natal will succeed either, but at least that technology is implemented in different ways. Sony may be one-upping Nintendo's technology, but I don't know if they can be as successful without making it core to the identity of the platform and the games that are produced.
I love this feature, it's the video game wiki equivalent of a hit list. Only... you know, legal. And I get rewarded for knowing way too much about Ocarina of Time.
Did the people at Ubisoft say anything about a future followup to the 2008 reboot? I may be in the minority, but I really enjoyed it and hope they continue that story.
I loved Sands of Time too, so I'm more than happy to revisit that character provided this game turns out well. Hopefully we'll see more soon that proves it's not just a quick cash-in on the movie release.
I wonder if they're getting the voice actors for these cameo characters or not. The climate change would give Wesker a perfect excuse to reuse the "complete global saturation" line.
Mordin, Legion, Samara, and Thane are my favorites of the new characters. I also like Grunt a lot more than I honestly expected from the pre-release coverage. The only new characters I didn't really like were Jack and Zaeed.
Does anybody know what "DTC Game for Console Online" is? Aside from that, I wonder what the last TBA game for Q4 is. A GDC/E3 announcement, perhaps? I'm also a little surprised that Dead Space 2 is Q1 2011, I assumed it would be a holiday release.
Managed to save everyone on my first try, thankfully. Here's what I did:
Legion went in the vents, Garrus led both Fire Teams. Jack used the biotic shield, and I sent Jacob back with the crew. Took Samara and Miranda with me to the final battle. Finally I blew up the base and told the Illusive Man to fuck off because I was playing Paragon, and surprisingly Miranda agreed with me and even quit Cerberus at the same time! I don't know if that's because I romanced her or not, but it was a really cool moment and made me fistpump a little bit.
I put a Powers listing on the ME2 article, it shows what skills each class can take. I didn't describe what they all do because I was worried that would take up too much space. I may put that in a game guide after I get the game and know more details. Aside from that, check the Class videos that are all up on Giant Bomb, there's a woman from Bioware who describes all of the class's abilities.
