Yeah, I've been farming Brauner to get my two Pneuma runes, so I'm pretty familiar with the level.  I can get to and kill Brauner in under 5 minutes now, but I'm pretty sure I got all the loot off him that I need on normal mode.  That son of a bitch dropped a cloth cape for me once!

Mad Men has inspired me to bring back the three martini lunch.  Unfortunately I can't afford martinis.  But when I can...

Yes.  The first time my group of friends and I got to chapter four we all stopped like 10 seconds in and said "woah, holy remix!"

Unlike you I love the level though.  The first time through it, I got separated from my four friends and I had NO clue where I was or how to get anywhere, so I was like fuck it, go fight the boss without me and I just sat there holding my nads like a moron.  After a couple runs on it though, the portrait teleports got a lot easier to navigate.

To tell you what they were I'd have to turn on my 360 and boot up the game so I'll get back to you on that if you can find out if you have them yourself. "
Found them!!  They're called Sage Rings.  I didn't even realize I had two of them too!  Guess I need to pay closer attention to those item descriptions and not just the stats!

Ugh, heal sounds like a BITCH to level up.  Charlotte is easily the most tedious character in the game, but man does she seem like she would be rewarding to upgrade.

I don't get bothered by the handful of negative reviews either, cause I can see where they're coming from to an extent.  The game is a recycle bin of assets, reassembled and repackaged for a buck.  Though I don't think the game gets enough credit for being a totally respectable (if a bit messy) experiment in creating a new hybrid of multiplayer game.  How many other cooperative, multiplayer, platforms games exist out there?  How many of those have five characters all with unique, balanced, and complimentary upgradable skill sets?

The best part about CV:HD to me is that the characters have all your basic OCD bases covered.  Shanoa and Jonathan feed my urge to grind, Charlotte and Soma feed my urge to collect, and Alucard feeds my urge to cut fools.

For my $15 bucks, I've already gotten my monies worth of this game at about 15+ hours of enjoyment and will continue to love it for a long while, so I'm way into DLC.  Hope it's reasonably priced, and by that I mean I hope it doesn't throw my MS point total off of multiples of 400, haha.

BTW, oh man, the article mentions Grant Danasty.  I never even thought about him!  How would wall climbing effect the current game?  I wouldn't think it would be too breaking.  Most of the bosses (excepting the first one) have a full radius of fuck up zone.

The possibilities...  I really hope they don't stop expanding this game for a long time.  The foundation is there to add as many new characters (and especially chapters!) as they want.

I really, really enjoy playing this with both friends and random dudes on XBL, but yeah, I sink a LOT of hours in the single player too.  Sometimes you just wanna kick back and level up some abilities, or do map runs to try and collect souls/spells off a specific monster.  Still haven't beaten the game.   Drac is giving me some trouble, but I think I've got his patterns down, so I'm gonna take a run at him solo today.  I've tried with a couple different set ups of people in multiplayer, both friends and randoms, and it usually just turns into a gigantic mess.  Half the team getting charmed, the other half just running into the middle all willy nilly and getting ho-slapped around...  I figure my chances at beating him might actually be better by myself.

@TheMasterDS:  Dang what rings are those?  I burn through MP with Shanoa like crazy.
