Okay, here's a thought. Maybe most of Irrational was built to make Infinite, and Levine is just cutting off the fat in order to make a new type of game. What good is talent specializing in big budget linear shooters when the studio is trying to make a different game? It sucks for the people losing their jobs, but does the world need more linear FPS games?

Obviously Sim City was a huge fucking disaster and disappointment, but Borderlands has to me my most idiotic day one purchase. I was so psyched for that game and it was so fucking shitty it was unbelievable.

Reviews and initial impressions have been really good so far. At the same time, expect confusion over it's "release" to create a literal tidal wave of hate. Most of the people I know are steering clear of this game like the plague ever since they announced it would be broken up into two parts and available as "early access"

I really enjoyed playing World of Tanks. Even though it's a complete scam and a rip-off, and not a very good game.

I really dug Bioshock: Infinite's story, but I felt like I spent wayyy too much time shooting dudes (and ladies) in the face, and it was boring as fuck.

Here's what you do. You treat them exactly how you would want to be treated. Pretty simple.

I am not offended by this game's existence, whatsoever. Also, it looks like a lot of fun. More Rock and Roll Racing? Cool!

This is a straight up lie. BF4 is selling gangbusters right now, even with it broken. Why would EA throw money away by putting projects on hold, when BF4 is making the money they want it to make? Businesses are there to make money, not waste resources on a project that's already released and making it's profit.

I think the most powerful gun I ever wielded in a game was the Novalith cannon from Sins of a Solar Empire, which could fire a projectile, capable of exterminating an entire planet's population, from anywhere in a star system. I personally never liked using it though. It felt cheap.

MAN, what a matchup. Both of these games are so influential to this generation, and I think both games will continue to influence games well into the next one. Personally I like AA a fuckton more than Braid, which I did not enjoy. However, if it wasn't for Braid, Minecraft, and Geometry wars, we wouldn't have any of the fancy indie games coming out now and well into the future. At the same time the AA clones are starting to peter out in quality and quantity. I'm going to have to go with Braid, despite me not actually enjoying the game.
