Sorry but even as someone who's a fan of equal rights and not objectifying anybody, I do not see what is wrong with having pretty women who choose to show up and get paid to be pretty being in these booths.

Isn't telling them "you can't do this here" the same as telling them they can't work at the job they have chosen to do, because they are pretty and female. And isn't that more chauvinist and objectifying than allowing them?

Great game. 3D Land is the must-have boxed title and Pushmo is now the must-have downloadable title. Be prepared for being stumped on more than one occasion though.

Lots of hate for LA Noire? Must be a gaming blog/Giant Bomb in general problem, last I checked LA Noire got lots of great reviews and people were enjoying it (last I checked was when people were actually playing it). Only thing I can imagine bringing in hate for LA Noire is the same old "we like to whine about shit and never shut up" crowd and they can all go to hell and die for all I care. LA Noire was a great game with definite flaws, those flaws did not at all overshadow the game as a whole though. Latch onto something to hate, that's the way of the internet. I choose to be positive and get on the internet to talk about things I love. For some reason a lot of people think the internet was invented for them to bitch (and again, fuck them).

If I plan to form a genuine opinion/rating on it then I play it at least to the end of story mode/campaign. That seems the only fair way to truly judge an entire game. How long to play before I just decide it's not for me then never speak of it again? Usually I'll know within an hour if it's an action/fighting/shooting game. I'd probably give adventure/action-adventure games more like 3 to 5 hours. And RPG's as much as 10 to 20 hours to catch my attention.

Mobile and casual games get less time, more like 10 minutes if it's truly casual and if it's just mobile but still a larger game experience probably an hour of play time (again unless it's an RPG, in which case I can play for a long time before deciding).

Bunch of fake boobs and airbrushed bodies, not my thing. I've got the internet and on that I can find amateur pics/videos of real people that are actually attractive, not plastic people.

Yeah. I'm playing a female Imperial and married Aela of The Companions. We're the hottest and most dangerous couple in Tamriel.

Since I sold Ly...I mean let Lydia join the *censored for spoilers* after she wouldn't marry me, it looks like Aela will have to be my wifey too.

You should join that guy on Community that does the frozen pizza reviews.

Personally I thought the steak stack was too heavy on steak and didn't have much flavor.

The answer is Star Trek but more people will say Star Wars because they prefer the easy way out.

I seem to remember Suikoden had over a 100 recruitable characters or something.

@Jeust: If you read the post, he got banned because someone used swear words directed at him (typing out his username) in their post. So he got banned for someone else's comment.

If that was the case, if he talked with the mods it would be fixed. Imagine the ruckus that would happen if this kind of situation started happening in Origin.

If you're able to type why can't you read?

The mod told the dude tough luck wait out the 72 hours, but it turns out he was banned too. So he's completely screwed for doing nothing.

The thing is:

  • if he really is blameless, they'll have to turn around, as this situation cannot happen again for the sake of business Origin is looking to create.
  • that is his version of the story. It isn't the first time that something along these lines happens and it turns out, the person in question did far more than he let people know.

I shouldn't have posted here though, as I generally have my doubts about this type of affairs.

This story isn't exactly minutes old. EA has had ample opportunity to prove that he was in the wrong, but instead they haven't, they've just said tough luck. Obviously the way it is described is the way it happened, it's not like that couldn't be (and it's unlikely that it hasn't been) verified. I hate it when people just jump to assume that because someone got in trouble they're automatically in the wrong. Remember innocent until proven guilty? EA screwed up, they haven't made a move to fix it, this guy did nothing. It seems to me you didn't read the story then responded and are now trying to defend your actions as if you actually meant them that way. Dear God I hope that's what happened because to accuse someone of making all this up when it's on the internet and verifiable is just...wrong.
