Do not make dummy facebook accounts. Their bots ban those accounts all the time, and if you had like a bunch of games bound to that dummy account, that is then no longer accessible to you until you confirm your identity. Good luck confirming your identity mr Throwaway Account446.

Facebook is quite a bit worse than the other devices/services you have an account on because of its urge to change you as a human. Make you angrier and more likely to engage with stuff. That's what separates Facebook from something like Amazon. Amazon doesn't need your eyes on amazon.com to make money, they need you to buy shit. Facebook just needs your eyes on their site as much as possible so adverts can be served, so instead of giving you ads for Peleton, they give you far right posts about how gays probably shouldn't be allowed to [insert that which would anger you the most]. While you're writing a reply to a neo nazi, the ads are just ticking away non stop on the side. Kaching! They need your eyes on the screen in a seething rage.

Our brains are easily programmable and Facebook is all about that. It's really horrible. That said, you can have an oculus device bound to your true facebook account and then just never use the web portion of this.

I think it's absolutely gorgeous. It's what I always thought future tech would look like. It has a space-minimalist look, love it.

So glad to hear you got a VR headset. I love VR so fucking much and I wish more people would play more of it and talk more about it instead of retelling the tales of yesteryear when someone got sick and then didn't play for 8 months and then got sick again and stuff.....

Hope you continue loving it. Battle Royale game came out yesterday called Population One, and it's sort of like fortnite but with climbing and gliding and shit. It's really really cool. Would be sweet if you maybe did a quick look, the game is cross compatible with Quest and windows MR as well, so you could technically squad up with Jeff and Brad and do some dumb shit in there... 3 Player teams.. Sorta Fortnite in VR.. Just saying..

Anyways, VR yay :D

Also, Vinny, check out Vox Machinae..... That's what you want. Get an Oculus Quest and play that shit from your PC wirelessly on the Quest. The Quest works for all VR. It's 300 bucks.

You're losing out by not playing this in VR. It's supposedly the most terrifying VR game out there at the moment... And using the flashlight with your hand is just awesome as hell. Seeing people just lose their shit in VR in this game is HILARIOUS. People just flailing around with their flashlights and screaming. Glorious :D

Yay, VR review :) I can only imagine the sharp edges playing this on a Quest 2. I might pick this game up.. Bought it on PSVR as well. The game has an awesome sense of "space." Super engaging.

Without VR this game is pretty good. With VR it's pretty damn spectacular. If you have VR it's a must play. If you don't have VR you should still probably play it if you like star wars and stuff.

This has the best star wars cockpits around, by far. It was worth the price for me to just see those cockpits in VR. Tie fighters are lame with that little viewport and no real situational awareness (aside from one small window in the roof and one in the rear that you never use), just like I thought, but everything else is awesome. The support ships are my fav for some reason. They have really cool big cockpits and tiny windows, feels like a space 747 :D

I have some drifting advice if you want it: When your car starts sliding, start treating it like a hovercraft as it just slides around sideways through turns. Don't point the car where you're going, just direct the power of the vehicle to give you the right course and apply power accordingly.

It also helps to just pump the throttle while you're drifting. You never really drift on full throttle because it just gets unruly at that point.

Also, tested is doing a video series where they're teaching a lady how to drift. First episode is very enlightening. So fun seeing people finally getting how it's done and just have their minds blown. Once you know how to drift, it's actually fairly easy. Just need to make the switch between car and hovercraft smoothly in your head.
