If my past experience carries over from GameSpot to what it's like to be a mod on Giant Bomb, it feels like being part of a small dictatorship that was constantly under threat of a coup d'etat.

Then again, the community here isn't made out of a bunch of kids constantly barking incomplete sentences on the system wars forums, so it probably doesn't translate... lucky bastards.

Never move without some kind of evidence. It's time to implement those LA Noire detective skills.

I don't think it's anywhere near as much an issue as it use to be back when I was a kid, but it does seem like it's flaring up again. Understandable considering this generation of console hardware has become so old.

I've had long hair for 5-6 years now. Finally had a haircut. I feel like Guile now.

2013? I can't wait that long! I don't even want the voices redone, just translate the text to English and I'm good to go!

Also let me make my MAG into a Dreamcast, SEGA, or you'll be losing out on money.

I've always had my 360 replaced for free, from RROD to the DVD drive not reading games anymore.

I feel like I've gotten lucky. The problems that plague these consoles have been the worst stories to come out from this generation.

I've had the same problem in the past growing up where I did. The answer for me was I grew up and moved somewhere cold.

So if the Steam Summer Sale never happens, what does that mean? Has steam just sucked the life blood out of these companies with their low prices over the past few years?

Most companies love the Steam sales. I know of a few that don't (EA, as always), but most of them are grateful for the fact that games that weren't selling good enough or that were no longer popular can get a second wind.

The sale is happening, a Valve rep said it on the forums. It'll probably start during mid-July. I don't see why everybody is so upset about it not happening right now, when it will eventually happen.

It is a silly thing to be upset about, but people gain a sense of entitlement pretty quickly.

Jukebox trolling doesn't sound like my idea of fun if I was the one doing it, but it sounds like something I would find funny if someone else did. Then again I don't have a regular spot I hang out in so it's not like it would ruin anything for me.
