@naru_joe93: You can try some port forwarding tricks. Some routers don't play well with the type of packets used on networks like XBL and PSN. At one point I had a netgear router which dropped crucial Nintendo Wii and Xbox Live packets and I had to return it.

@liquidprince: I agree that its a dumb opinion but then again almost everyone on that podcast said Brothers had a good story...and that so laughable.

I haven't had any download issues. I don't want to sound like a prick but you sound more like you're whining than anything else. Don't forget that both WiiU and XBone has some slowdown issues the past week because of new users from Christmas. I downloaded all of Killzone on Ps4 in less than 40 minutes back in November. Then again I am on 100mbps internet connection. I downloaded all of Zen Pinball 2, Flower, and Fifa in less than 1.5 hours this week...so I think your complaining is a bit hyperbolic and you should check with your ISP before heading down the "HOLY SHIT ITS ON FIRE, SCREW SONY HARD!" diatribes.

I have had mine since day one and I love it. They have an amazing foundation to work off of and all the features I use work well. I hope they let me remove the Video apps I don't have installed because I hate seeing all that crap listed there. Other than that and the occassional Battlefield 4 issues I think its an amazing system. The controller is also amazing and I have already gotten rid of my 360 controller that I used for PC gaming in lieu of the PS4 controller.

I found his work in Saints Row IV (Nolan North) to be incredibly boring and half assed...not his fault. All they did was have him do the exact same lines as another person. Had they went all meta, fourth wall with it then it could have been amazing.

Not really. I take the time I put into a game + everything I thought was good about it. The difference is that I have absolutely no interest in playing The Last of Us again but I thought it was my game of the year. GTA had a shit ton of content but most of it was, to me, a large waste of time. I still think the game is fun in small doses but the story lasts too long and is padded with too much bullshit.

@truthtellah: A thread about discussing issues with popular games is one thing, and people discuss the merits and problems of games all the time. But a thread at the end of the year where the central point is voting on which popular game is the least deserving of that popularity is at its core bitter and based more on differences in personal preference than any actual determination of quality.

That paragraph shows you've missed the point of the thread entirely.

@truthtellah: Coming from a person on website whose staff talked loads of hot mess about some games many of them didn't even play? I think we can all keep this civil. If for some reason it doesn't get that way then that's what mods are for. If we can only praise games then we really can't have any meaningful discussion at all, right?

@tyrrael: eh, I loved the story and even most of the game play. If people hate on you for thinking otherwise then they need to be taken out for a seafood dinner and never called again. :D
