After Clem got kidnapped Kenny refused to come which I thought was an asshole move because I felt I'd supported him from episode 2 on. I chose Shawn and unintentionally supported Larry but after that I fed Kenny and his family, got duck water, I shot him, didn't fight Kenny, supported his boat plan, tried to console him and didn't ask him to shoot the kid but he was all like you haven't had my back since the start when I've had far more decision in support of him than against over the first 4 episodes. It was real surprising especially since as at the end of episode 2 he gave me the whole I trust you now speech you can come in the RV. So I rewound it and tried the "Clem's my family" dialogue instead of the "I need you" dialogue and that got him to come and he said you were always there for Katjaa and Duck, but if that's his view then why was he so pissed off. I don't know but that's the only time I've reminded it so far.
Don't think I'll rewind it again though, try to keep the story intact, but I really wanted that character to come with.
There different from most other first person shooters, the first one is anyway and while I'm a defender of the sequel it is a lot more shooty shooty than Bioshock. Bioshock 1 you should get through fine based on the interesting world, story and characters and the new world and powers. By the time you get to 2 you might be a bit fatigued of the world, and the characters aren't as interesting but the story is arguably more personal and just as interesting. I'd say play both but not all at once because you will burn out before you get through 2 and as much as the original is a superior game, 2 is still good and still deserves to be played. The MP is also kind of fun if a bit under-populated.
In terms of time Bioshock I'd say is around 15 hours, maybe a little less for a main line aforethought Bioshock 2 is probably closer to 10 hours, maybe a bit more. So I'd say 25-30 hours to beat both, but I think you should play both they're both great games.
And in terms of links to infinite I'm sure there is no totally necessary references or plot points you need to know, but I'm sure there will be links or maybe some character origins in Infinite but either way you should play the first 2.
No, as someone else here said the story was made especially effective by also seeing Lee as one of the characters not just as a player avatar something very difficult to do with a player created character
I said C. I haven't actively followed it in a few years now and I feel that time away is what makes it so that when I do dip in I enjoy what I see and get a few laughs.
I was going to get Black 2 or Black but when the X and Y news cane out I was going to leave it but from what I've read here, shit I need to get Black 2.
@Rainbowkisses: I had kind of the opposite recently with the spider-man films. I watched 2 and 3 recently and while I think Amazing is better than both. I still liked 2 just as much as I did but also liked 3 a fair bit more which I hated initially. It's still not great but it aint as bad as people make it out to be.
