So basically it's Skylanders meets Disney?

I'm actually playing it a great deal now, though I don't have Xbox Live Gold. Good luck finding other gamers though, and I hope you're still enjoying it!

It can happen. The great thing about the game is it's gender neutral. It's beauty and lovely visuals bely a fiendishly addictive game that appeals to both males and females. My 9 year old nephew loves the game, but definitely needs help progressing, as it's also quite challenging.

It's an interesting premise, and something I'd hoped to see. Here's some of my thoughts.

A obstacle course type minigame (similar to Kinectimals)

Interactive toys (frisbees, balls, bubble blowers etc) and this is also similar to Kinectimals.

Be able to wash the pets (similar to Nintendogs). Could lean around to get a different angle, scrub with a brush, hose with hose or watering can, brush fur etc.

Whack a minion type game.

Set up traps and nets for certain pinatas.

Racing games (race against pinata, race as pinata against minions.

Whack a weed type game.

Take pictures of pinata, dress up, make up type game.

Teach pinata tricks with voice commands and gestures.

ETC

----

Strictly speaking, a straight up port of Trouble in Paradise isn't a good idea. But utilising the franchise to take the best advantage of Kinect would be a good idea I think. Take equal parts Nintendogs and Kinectimals, and give it a Viva Pinata polish and you could have a fun, albeit simple title that has already been done. But it would be nice to see those Pinatas back up to mischief.

Lost Odyssey is absolutely beautiful - one of the most impressive traditional style JRPG's I've played. The memories are really well done, they add an extra emotional layer that is wonderfully presented. Well worth checking out.

I can also recommend Eternal Sonata. It has beautiful music and an interesting premise. It's quite traditional, and a great deal of fun. It is also gorgeous to look at.

It's weird, but I have an irrational fear of vacuum cleaners. I can't explain why.

Ghosts and Goblins would benefit well on the Vita with upgraded graphics. As would Final Fight.

That's not unusual. Due to the massive explosion of content of superheroes outside of comic books (the films in particular) there is huge interest in the characters and there are many who enjoy the films or the peripheral content outside of the comics.
