It means on a Mac OS buddy.

I should probably also mention that it means a native OS, not via some software that erases difficulties like BootCamp.

I'm simply astonished.

"Learned her lesson?" What lesson? She was a guest host on a free podcast revolving around a free media outlet (website) that is Giant Bomb and that she was invited by one of the main reviewers and members of the outlet itself.  Where the fuck did this self-entitlement come from that means all people on the Bombcast must be endearing to you, and only you few? I'm not saying this because I liked her, hell no she was a mic hog, but responding in this way is a sign of social ineptitude and, I think, a desensitization of actual people. Are you people aware this is something that you chose to consume? Something that you could just hit "Stop" and never go back to? Commenting on it does nothing but breed stupidity and puerile comments.

I didn't think she was an issue, sure she was loud and talked a lot, but you guys/gals complaining have obviously never been drunk. You talk bullshit for hours because of it, and it was sort of the guys' fault for allowing a drunk woman (not to sound sexist, but a lot of women can talk and talk and talk when they're drunk) on the podcast, and talking MGS4. I'm just surprised that nearly half, or more based on eyeballin' it, of this thread has such a massive chip on their shoulder about the podcast.

Whatever, if she's sober this year, and even if she's drunk you can count me in for consuming more GB content, and learning more about E3 through the podcasts.

@Jayross: I do love the themes for Retronauts and Active Time

Oh, and I love the (almost) kitschy 70's cop show tune. The old theme is great as well, but I really like the horns and bass.

Jeff's a cool dude with informed opinions and a fantastic radio voice
Vinny's a slick guy who is overtly optimistic, but won't pass up an opportunity to say cunt
Brad's smoky voice and cool demeanor are rad
Ryan, who I dislike, is very well informed, and the assholes are always smart.

Plus, games be cool.

@Dr_Feelgood38: Damn dude, I had to order mine from Toys 'R Us for like $35. After being duped by an asshole Amazon dealer.

Anyways, used games are A-OK by me. My lack of money dictates that, not my preference. Anyone who thinks buying used games is a drain on the company isn't realizing the previous purchase the company received (though I don't know if re-sale takes some money from the company), and is a little too either self-entitled or unaware of people like myself that don't have $120-240 every week to spend on a game.

I'd wholly recommend Tekken 6 or Super Street Fighter IV.

Both are fun at basic levels, but require a ton of patience to master. Tekken especially, and 6 has a load of characters (while some may be overpowered or underpowered) that give you a wide variety of options for a beginner. SSFIV is a different beast, where online you will stand no chance against virtually anyone, but its great fun if you don't mind losing.

Tekken 6 is slightly unbalanced because of the character overload, but the few characters that are overpowered (like always, Julia and Hwoarong) or underpowered (again like always, and my favorite, Lee) are few and far between. I haven't played many Dragunovs or Feng Weis, so I can't comment on them, but overall it's fairly well balanced and very deep if you're willing. The online code is sort of meh, however, and that is kind of a big downfall. However, if you have the patience for a very deep combo and instance-based fighting game, then this is your man. Expect anything and everything and always be thinking two steps ahead is the name of the game.

SSFIV has a much better online code, but due to the craziness of SFIV, people already know how to play the game VERY well. If you have free time over the summer, mastering a character is a good way to drain the whole 2.x months. Because the basis of the combos and juggles is very limited to 3-6 hit strings and special move spams, there is a very finite technicality to the game that almost everyone who's bothered to think has mastered. In some fighting game there is an unforeseen and deeper technicality, and Street Fighter is (kinda) one of them). Being able to recognize moves, or more likely preparations for moves, seconds before launch is how Street Fighter works.

I love anything involving math. Correlation of numbers, fractals, differential equations...all that is music to my ears. Also knowing something that pertains to actual real world implications is nice.

Though, it's kind of funny to say that from grades 4-9 I absolutely hated math. One year with a teacher who put it into perspective has changed my life's goals entirely.

4Player Podcast.

They're amatuerish and one of their members (David) is one of the worst podcasters I've ever heard but they're a fun listen and aren't very high maintenance. David's stupidity, lack of insight, and overall LOUDNESS is obnoxious though. I almost cried with delight when he left for a couple of months. Despite all that, they're pretty good and do a live broadcast every single night, unless there is an emergency or something.

Someone already said this I believe, but I think it's necessary to reiterate.

The majority of these reviewers are just 4 months off of having loved Mass Effect 2 and its streamlined TPS style. They figure that AP is a carbon copy, and when it turns out more like ME 1 (seriously, look at the friggin' skill tree...was there licensing for that or something?) they go blitzkrieg because they went into it with the absolutely wrong impression.

These are also the people that liked Fallout 3 (I'm led to believe). That game had even more horrendous shooting...and was even first person! And they even cop'd out with that terrible VATS monstrosity. I guess Bethesda's and ZeniMax's (green filled) hands reach further than I thought.  Do you guys (or gals) really only buy games with high reviews? It's especially difficult with cases like Sterling or, on a positive side, 1up; it's really difficult to write-off a game solely because of early reviews by ignoramuses like Jim Sterling.

I guess I find it odd because reviews have only ever been a platform to begin making decisions on, not the be-all-end-all of my purchases. Eh, whatever.

I only watched the P4 ER because I was undecided if I wanted to buy it. I got hooked, finished it (I came here after it was over), and bought P4.

However, the DP ER literally put me to sleep on several occasions. Maybe it's the art style, maybe it's the RPG fan in me hating TPS's, or maybe it's the overall detached hatred the entire crew seems to have for the game (I dunno about Ryan or Brad actually, I didn't want to have to listen to Ryan)? I dunno, eitgher way, something sits really wrong with me the part of the DP ER.
