Watch out America....

Because here I come, four days, five nights, an empty stomach and a desire to eat!

Anyways, I'll be in America for the rest of the week, just a heads-up.

I sense of a pattern of closets.

Okay, obviously context and exposition is needed.

In November 27th, of 1978. A man by the name of Dan White had snuck into a federal building, with an intent on killing a member of the San Fransico Board of Supervisors. Harvey Milk was shot and killed along with George Moscone. In his defense, Dan White claimed that the cause of this was a sugar rush caused by junk food, in particular Twinkies. In the trial, the jury was entirely make up of the one thing that should not be, Irish Catholics, more on that later. Dan White was sentenced to 7-8 years, but was released in 5 for good behaviour (For the murder of two men). Now it is important to note that the jury was mostly Irish Catholic because... well Dan White was Irish Catholic. The police even wore shirts that said "Free Dan White", while even joking about the murder of Harvey Milk. See at the time, there was a huge divide between the Irish cops and the gay community, raids were commonplace and many were brought to jail and some are even killed just because they were gay or black (Yes, it was during that time). I should have pointed this out, Harvey Milk was the first openly gay politician in American history (President James Buchanan misses out for keeping his mouth shut).

Anyways, certain things should be taken from this.
1) Harvey Milk was gay and represented minorities in San Fransisco
2) Twinkie Defense represents more than a bullshit defense, but rather how a bias in a jury and judge can screw up an entire decision. It represents how minorities are not safe in the court of law, regardless of how blind justice is.
3) The massive divide and harsh discourse coming from one group.

The points are above for you to take reference of. About two days ago (Maybe three since I had this pre-written), Nancy Pelosi gave a speech about how the kind of discourse we see today is the exact same as when Harvey Milk was shot in San Fransisco, people hating other people. Groups partaking in a war with each other. Obviously Glenn Beck won't have any of this, and will try to make an example of what she stated (Regardless of how true). Roll the clip... oh sorry I'll get out of your way.

Now if you watched the clip, it's quite clear what he let out. If you cannot stand Glenn Beck, I'll point it out. I'll give you the three points he missed out entirely.

3) The massive divide and harsh discourse coming from one group.

The most obvious is that he closeted Harvey Milk, which ruins the whole point of Milk's fight. A fight which was described in the speech he recorded 9 days before he was assassinated. That's right, Harvey predicted his own death. I urge you all to give it a listen. Anyways, this isn't the only time Fox has closeted Harvey Milk. In the review of the movie on the morning show, not once did the two hosts ever point out that Harvey was the first gay politician, they only said politician. They never pointed out why he was killed, or anything you do want to know. LiberalViewer points it out in the video here

Now I want to ask myself because of a series of choice words by Fox News. In another clip, O'Reilly and Megyn Kelly discuss the "gay friendly" classes that are including in the California curriculum. Now they do well until, they don't actually talk about why it is a bad thing that parents cannot opt out their kids from this one class. Kudos for Megyn for trying to point out it is an anti-bullying class. Clip here. They don't actually do a good enough job of talking about the numbers, and you know what numbers I am talking about.

Now why are they doing this? I have my own thoughts that Fox is trying all it can to avoid making the right-wing christians the enemy in any story. Otherwise there is no point to opt out very important information.

-Do you think that Fox tips the scales to avoid making one party look bad and the other one worse or is there something less intentional going on here?
also
-Do you think that the specific wording was a decision of Fox Corps? Or the anchors.

CZARMANIA!!!

Damn those radical communists, how dare they use the word Czar as a nickname... seriously. Welcome to part one of the correction of right rage, or rather the official title of "CORR" (Yeah, I got nothin'). Today I shall bring a list of "czars" along with their full title in job description format. You ready? Here we go!

[NOTE: This list was obtained by a nutbag blog entitled "Investigating Obama" in order to save a few minutes. Believe me, I'll need it for later. Also note, the editorials next to the names are not mine. List obtained is under the fair use clause for criticism and commentary as I shall do shortly after the list]

  1. Afghanistan-Pakistan (Af-Pak) czar, Richard Holbrooke
  2. AIDS czar, Jeffrey Crowley [openly gay white man]
  3. Auto recovery czar, Ed Montgomery

  15. Economic czar, Larry Summers
  16. Economic czar number two, Paul Volcker

  18. Energy czar, Carol Browner
  19. Food czar, Michael Taylor [a former Monsanto executive, or, the fox in charge of the henhouse]
[REST OF LIST IS *HERE*]

EEEK, this sounds scary! Although, it isn't. Here's a fun fact, the term "Czar" nowadays is a political colloquialism to save time in giving the full title. Seriously, some of the full titles for these guys are massive, like "border czar", but I promised to give a list of their full job titles, because in reality none of this above me is true in any way. Except for God Czar, if you had the choice of that as a title, you would take it right away. God Czar, damn, that's badass.

I'm missing three, because they are not confirmed. But I ask of you, are you still scared about these guys? No, of course not, and you most likely were not scared of them because you knew that the complaints about Czars were from people who don't know the lingo. Next time you hear about people complaining about Czars, send them here. Because I like the traffic, but also because this is reader friendly. Oh yeah, and when it comes to balls in the White House, there are only a few people left with them. Elizabeth Warren is one of them, but Kevin Jennings is another. If you read up on this guy, you would realize that he deserves the job he is getting. He knows his shit, and isn't afraid to call people out who do not know their shit.

This has been Snipzor, and I seriously want the title of God Czar right now and so do you. Good day.

How to win an Oscar (Status update)

Read this to boost your possible acting career.

That aside, I've been playing the fuck out of Trials/Splosion/Ikaruga, and I've come to a simple conclusion. These games are awesome. Putting even that aside, I've met an old friend in college, and not the friend which I wanted to kick in the face (You know, the fake friends), but rather an acquaintance I've had the pleasure of conversing with on many occasions. Essentially I've come to the conclusion that the every day acquaintance has much more bearing on ones life than the many people we supposedly come to link with.

Even putting that aside, I've also come to another conclusion. I trust rental/electronic stores in purchasing movies and games more than stores that specify in certain things (Excluding the stores that bundle and bulk everything). It's strange, but I've bought more games outside of game stores than inside. Same as movies, but I don't exactly have the need to buy anymore movies because of [ADVERTISEMENT] the Movie Network which provides excellent movie viewing with seven movie channels including HBO [ADVERTISEMENT]. It has been a fruitful week in contemplation, which would explain why I cannot sleep at all.

Until next time, enjoy the list of Let's Players I've now subbed in the past month. Enjoy, and what ever you do, never ever eat three packets of crackers in one day. I learned that the hard way.

Resulka (Education/Kids genre)

Finally, real game update (Games I'm playing)

Spent a little money on arcade games and one piece of DLC for GTA4. Here is a mini-review for these games (Except for Lost & Damned, that is for later).

IKARUGA

... fuck fuck fuck fuck FUUUU - oh, there you are. I didn't see you there. Yeah, this game is hard, but being a fan of touhou (Newly created fan) I had to buy this game. This incredibly hard frustrating game, I suck at it. But it is amazing, and I knew I should have bought it first opportunity I had when it first came out. If I did play it then, and perhaps returned to all my old SMUPs, then maybe, just maybe I wouldn't... ahh who am I kidding. This game is awesome.

TRIALS HD

Well this isn't so bad, I mean I played the old flash games and kicked ass in them, what could they possi-
what the fricken hell is that?!   These are my reactions in this game as soon as I tried XTREEME difficulty, and seriously, what in the ever living hell do they want me to do to get past certain jumps? Seriously. But in other cases, I love the Rube Goldberg style puzzles in certain levels, they are great and so is this game. Honestly though, I am physics bitch, not the other way around. I can't comprehend how to do certain jumps and climps with a degree of understanding. Was it worth the 1200 points? Yes and no, but I do rather enjoy the game and I wasn't the one to pay for it (More on that later) so huzzah.

' Splosion Man

Awesome, awesome awesome in every way. That is all I have to say.
 --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Now where in the hell did I get the money to spend on the points to spend on these games? Simple. It was leftover money that was left to me to spend while my parents were in London. Yeah, I have  exactly $140 left. Borderlands and Scribblenauts, here I come. HUZZAH!

Next year, next year (Read quickly as this is a speedy rant)

Okay so I missed PAX (again) and for a good reason. I cannot plan for shit and plans generally get scrapped because of people who are considerate with their plans (thanks a lot people). Now I'm the type of person who would attend a convention or expo for the panels, and this year was a host of amazing panels (Mainly because two great websites other than this one had panels, three when you count my loyalty to Giantbomb dot com) and I couldn't give two general colonel mustards about the news (ever). Seriously, I don't even know the anouncements regardless of reading AgentJ's updates, very quickly and without attention whily playing the first chapter of Ikaruga (Never again, that shit is hard to dodge). Well for next year's PAX, fuck college, I'm heading over to wherever it is so I can totally have a good time with other Giantbombers.

See you next time, this has been Snipzor reminding you to turn on the flux capacitor in the basement of the building in 21/04/13. He'll know what it means. Good day.

Rock Band killed Guitar Hero in two (And other)

Yeah, I played Guitar Hero 2 and 3, I loved GH2. Great tracklist, even if some songs did not prominently feature the guitar, there were good songs anyways. If that game had multiplayer (online), great I guess. But in this game, I don't care about it unless it is co-op multiplayer. Which in some sense was, but only with the bass. GH3 comes out, I buy it like an idiot, hated it. Yeah... it had four good songs, but I don't want to pay +90$ to play 4 songs. It had online multiplayed, good for it, I still didn't care. Hell, they even had to link profiles, that took ages. I might as well not have even bothered because there was no point considering lag and skill gaps. The main thing about the series was the DLC, and it died after the third game because it wasn't even an option in the second game. I say it is a main thing because of Rock Band, which did the genius thing of weekly DLC. I even remember the recent DLC for RB2 being the Talking Heads DLC, I love them. Although I don't have the game and won't play it, but it is there. The DLC with the Rock Band games are amazing.

Fastforward to the future with Guitar Hero World Tour and GH5, and what the fudge?! Look at the setlist, look at it. I've made my point. The way I look at music is simple, if you want to feature the guitar mainly, then don't take songs past the year of 1985 (With some exceptions). Rock died a long time ago, it is pointless to assume it is still alive, and with Rock Band Beatles, well GH is dead and if Activision was smart (Which they aren't), they would cut it out. Because this is a pointless battle.

In other news, if I got Ikaruga, who here would be brave enough to trek this son of a gun with me. Who here is brave enough to be shot at by billions of bullets at once... oh wait that's another game.

Update of the week.

Did you hear the news? Glenn Beck murdered and raped a girl in 1990.  Now these reports of Glenn Beck murdering and raping a girl in 1990 are unconfirmed, but there has been talk recently amongst the internet and other sources of Glenn Beck horribly murdering and thusly raping a girl in 1990 and he has yet to confirm or deny these allegations of him murdering and raping a girl in 1990.

If you have any knowledge of Glenn Beck and his   murder and rape of a girl in 1990, we would appreciate if you can contribute anything. Spread the word.

Are games getting more lame? (Article to prove it, and others)

Being a gamepolitics/d-toid story troll, I often come across many great articles/stories/fun facts. Now this blog is essentially a summary of things that I read or have seen a few times in the last months. Now in case you are wonder, the headline I came up with was a play on the modern day coloquialisms for gay, although I didn't need to say that if I had bothered to showcase the multiple stories.

1) Thinkb4youspeak ads piss off gamers who didn't get it : Naturally I shouldn't be shocked if gamers didn't get it. I mean, they challenged their honour with a stereotype that is completely false and/or illogical (Although it got me perfectly). But what people did not get was that it was the point, it wasn't meant to be in anyway close to the truth, or stereotype. Now I loved the response, but I also hated it because it showed exactly how kneejerk reactions can be found in the gaming culture after a long series of honour challenges since the Mortal Kombat debacle. Gamers have seemed to deem every criticism of the gaming culture as a negative attack, even though some are critical and often times 100% true (Unless they are from Fox News/Jack Thompson). The ad basically focussed on the use of gay as a pejorative, as well as faggot and queer, and the response was a counter-attack. Two things I want to note, I thought the ads were brilliant. But most importantly, if you want the image of gamers to detereorate, don't bother, gamers will do it themselves (unfortunately).

And here is the response from Penny-Arcade which pretty much sums it all up.

2) Bioware follows the will of George Lucas to ensure there are no gay people in their game : This makes no sense at all, look at every game Bioware makes, does this seems to go against what your company is known for? Of course it does, so why bother?  Well luckily for everyone who knows what Bioware is like, the issue was resolved in a timely and calm manner... just kidding. Everyone lost their shit and threads about it were locked. Okay, it was issued, and an apology was received. Problem solved.

3) Shadow Complex : Moving along, we've gone through this enough times to know what the problem was.

4) Are Games Getting Gayer? : Now I have my own thoughts about this, and they go on for a while. Now you can either read the article or read the paragraph below that sums up my thoughts on it. Or you can skip this entire part, which begs me to ask this simple question. Why did you read this blog?

Anyways, my thoughts are simple. I don't think games are getting gayer in anyway. Although I would understand why people might possibly think that. The way I see it is that the hyper-masculine characterization of people in games (Not just male characters) is actually reversing. This kind of thing is not as prevalent (Ahem, not counting any/every game from Epic Games) anymore, and options are coming up, and we both know (Between you an me) what I mean by "options". Do I think games should include more gay characters/subplots just for the hell of it being that way? No, that doesn't fix anything. But do I think the option should be there? Absolutely, but again, that's just me. I among a bunch of other people want as many partners as possible in the Fable games, and I want to be as unfaithful to my liking. That's essentially my opionion on the issue.

As well as my entire entry, this has been Snipzor asking you to give me your PS3, seriously guys I want to play MGS4.
