I have a gaming laptop for when I'm at my university flat and what you said isn't true at all.

It'll probably be my main machine after I move to Japan next August, I might upgrade to another one before then though.

Edit: Gigabyte make great laptops, they only started making them quite recently. Though I'm biased as mine is a Gigabyte, good performance, good cooling, good screen, good keyboard, 4 hours of battery if I need it. You get the idea!

I look forward to trying this without all the jaggies, might even give the online a fair shot if it comes to a better system.

Final Fantasy VII, VIII, IX, X.

I don't understand why they were so hyped even back then, I tried them all and hated them. I thought JRPGs just weren't for me, but Persona 3 and 4 outclass all of Square's efforts.

Skyrim too, I like the world design as it has some really good looking locations and scenes, though the gameplay feels ancient and the combat...

I'm not sure who wins Worst Font Use of Last Generation: Is it Sony for the fat PS3 Spiderman font, or Square for the XIII series?

What I would like is less premium paywalling.

PC. Looks better, runs better, it's quicker to get into games - I consider it a negative having to move to the couch and turn a console + TV + amp on. It might sound lazy but it's one less barrier to hopping on a game.

That said I still play on console because exclusives. I like both, but I prefer the experience of PC. Being able to tab out and do something else for a few moments or easily load up background music/podcasts is a great bonus.

As for screen size it's a non issue, my PC is connected to both my plasma TV and a 27" monitor. When I'm using my TV I use surround sound speakers, when I'm at my desk I use my headphones. (which I find more immersive than speakers) My monitor is pretty big so I don't really care about moving to the couch because of how close I sit to my monitor it's just as immersive as a big TV to me.

Most coffee places have tea, as well as hot chocolate. If you are unsure, just get a hot chocolate instead of wasting your money.

You would be surprised how much better Dark Souls looked on PC despite no fancy graphical settings. It's like the textures were just made to be on PC even though the port sucked pre-dsfix.

I really doubt they would make that big an oversight, especially when Georgie boi is on the production staff.
