This looks incredibly fun. I've stayed away from gears games since I haven't really enjoyed them but I might (just might) buy this for horde 2.0

lots of typos. Seems very interesting but I won't get it unless it gets stellar hands-on reports and justifiably cool games.

Game Informer has a rough spec sheet on their site. It'll be as powerful if not a bit more so than the PS3 and 360. Using proprietary discs again (regular size), HDMI compatible, has flash memory, compatible with external USB HDD (hopefully up to 1 or 2 Tb), and displays up to 1080p. Hopefully we get a more finalized spec sheet by end of the year with RAM, amount of internal flash, and other stuff.
