When it comes down to it this was a business decision. In the membership podcast neither Ryan, Jeff, or Dave seemed ultimately thrilled about the way this has shaken out. I can't imagine it was their intent to have the Bombcast turn into a have now and have a little later kind of situation. But people do have to understand that at the end of the day this is a business, and people have to be paid, and the ad revenue they do get isn't going to keep the lights on. It's a tough choice they had to make and while certainly not a popular one i'm sure there were far worse solutions considered
I was expecting it to look a little worse...after seeing some of the screenshots and videos it certainly looks reasonably good for this generation of consoles. Kudos to Randy Pitchford and Gearbox for not letting Duke whimper into the sunset.
