i dont know what it is but i find Christmas depressing  because nearly everywhere i go there ais decorations and those annoying Christmas song.

Easiest way I know to dodge the annoying xmas songs is to replace them at least in the version of it playing through your brain.

Christmas was depressing when I worked in retail because it started in fucking August. But now that I don't have to suffer it throughout the summer, autumn and winter I like it a lot! I do this by avoiding all large shopping malls.

I have no problems with it when it actually is close to Christmas time. It bothers me when people start with the songs in mid-November..

I like Christmas and the seasons. Gives me a sense of the progression of time; makes me happy to be on the east coast.

There's a number of reasons to be depressed by Christmas but I'm surprised that of all things you're depressed by the decorations and songs. I could understand the songs being annoying but I don't think I could ever be depressed by them.

That title makes no sense.

The older you get the less depressing Christmas becomes (or more depressing - but statistically those people usually end up killing themselves).
 
At 23 I've found that the more you deal with the overwhelming amount of fake assholes in the "real world" 51 weeks out of the year, the more you appreciate and enjoy being surrounded by the people you love and whom love you.

I'm also not a fan of Christmas. I hate shopping and am hard to buy gifts for, so giving and receiving gifts sucks. The music sucks, and one of my favorite radio stations switches to all Christmas music all December. Every form of media has Christmas stuff all over the place, making it difficult to ignore. It's like the whole world stops around Christmas as far as news and games are concerned. And it falls a month after Thanksgiving, meaning I have to make a long drive down to see the crazy extended family twice in a thirty day period!

Christmas decorations go up too quickly in my opinion. Should wait until December, not November to put them up, but whatever. I guess it all works. 
 
I also consider most depressive and pessimistic attitude from Giantbomb to be irrelevant. There's some kind of angst feeling behind the nerds of this place.
