This guy asked reddit for a game idea, and he made it in a week to solicit donations for his friend who has brain cancer.

I bet it's great to get stuff on the eShop. I wouldn't know, because Nintendo wants to sell me awesome titles like "Inchworm Animation DSiWare" for $7.50. That was the last update on the AUS eshop, one DSiWare title.

I would certainly buy one at those prices, but seeing as I'm Australian, I'll have to pay $349 or $429, and that's pushing it.

Oh sweet, a fresh batch of second hand iPhones is about to hit the market!

I try to read most reviews of games from the perspective of someone who plays a lot more games than I ever will be able to. While I might get to play a cover based shooter every few months, they must play several a month. I can imagine that would wear thin a lot faster on someone that is exposed to it far more than I.
