Ultimadark

I played the demo, and frankly I was a bit disappointed. I've played every total war game since Rome, so I've got some total war experience. The battles are fine, but the strategy map is not to my liking. To me it feels like they have simplified it a lot since Empire, which I loved for it's expansiveness.

Steam for me

I remember that I tried to play insanity right after I finished the game on normal, I imported my vanguard and it was almost impossible to get past the first level.

It certainly feels like a game that I would like. The cards in the screenshots kind of make this look like a board game, maybe that's what they want to do if this is successfull.

This game is coming out on steam tomorrow, is anyone going to buy it? I've been curious since I saw it a few weeks ago, if there's a demo I will definately try it, might just get it otherwise. 
 
I read that there was a beta earlier, if someone tried the beta and is allowed to talk about it, I would love to hear your impressions.
