Lose the scores given to the game as a measure of it's quality and replace them with scores given to the reviewer's experience with the game. This way, a fully functioning game like Mass Effect 3 can still receive a completely shitty score if the reviewer feels like the ending ruined the experience completely for them. Also, scores can't be argued anymore now, because they aren't saying anything about the quality of the game, since it's now 100% opinion. You could still have a lot of fun with a factually mediocre game.
MIrror's Edge is the only game ever where I skipped all the cutscenes and did not feel bad about it. The Heavenly Sword credit there is a saving grace, because that was alright.
