So another week has gone by and school is going ok. Im struggling a little bit in algebra 2 but hopefully I can pull out at least a B. So this morning I had my first 5k cross country meet. It was deadly hot out and it was a very hilly course. I ran it in 18:49 and finished 5th on my team 20th overall. It was a great race. I can't wait for the rest of the season now. So i have been playing a lot of Gears of War due to the lack of games I have. I have decided to skip buying Star Wars: TFU and just rent it. Also now that I have a way to get $50 every 1-2 weeks I am thinking about getting Halo 3 or Call of Duty 4. I don't know which one I want. Which one should I get. I have basically all achievements from rentals but which one will give me enough online time. I might get it tomorrow or Monday since we have school of Monday thanks to Labor Day.

Our Football team sucks and it makes it worse that one of out football player(Michael Fazio)had a wreck and is in critical condition in a Huntsville hospital,and that couldnt give them enough freaking motivation to score 20 points,we lost 35-16.Well I would buy COD 4 because Halo is just the same thing as Halo 2....really nothing new to it.

It seems like you're in a better mood than you normally are, that's good. I don't have Halo 3, but I would go for it over CoD4 because I didn't a lot of mileage out of that one online.

COD4 is probaly a better overall value, but halo 3 is probaly alot cheaper now. Be sure to pick up COD4 game of the year edition though so you can get the new maps

COD4 is better than Halo 3 both on and offline. Its one of the best first person shooters you can buy, go for it.

Yeah I was thinking about getting COD 4 seeing as I always like war FPS's. I rented it and thought it was very fun. It's $49.99 used at Play N Trade.

I'd go with the majority and say CoD4 is the better of the two.  As for Star Wars, that's probably a good decision... it's definitely rental material, but probably not much more.

I wish 18:49 was good enough for 5th place when I was on my school's team. I was running sub-18 times and fighting for #8 on the team. Our football team was good though, they won state last year.

Well AlexB, I had Halo 3 for awhile back when it wasn't as great as I thought it was and  then traded it in towards rockband.....mistake. THen I asked for COD4 for x-mas. Never got it.

My 1st week of High School was decent. It would've been a lot better had it not buryed me in homework.

I don't think you should because if you think about it, your only gonna play those games for a month, then play Left 4 Dead, Gears of War 2, and Fallout 3.  Halo 3 and COD4 are great games, but still...

I'd say get CoD4.

I love Halo 3 and Cod4, and about now I've played both about equally. Actually halo a little more, but w/e. 

Get Halo 3, I have both and COD4 is fun, but I didn't keep me playing for very long at all. I didn't stick to H3 that long either, but I still liked it more than COD4.
