Games I've Given the Business (or beaten, for lamers.)

This is purely for my own record, and is ever expanding. I have a TERRIBLE memory, so this could be an issue.  I'm also really only counting from 6th generation onward. That's the PS2/XBox/ Gamecube era, for those who are unaware.  From here on out, I plan to keep a date with any game I complete. Thinking back is hard, haha.

(28 games off the top of my head @ 3:18 on a Saturday Night.)
(Added 20 more at 12 am on 10-19)

List items

  • I'm Commander Shepard, and this is my favorite RPG on the Citadel. Wayyyy to many playthroughs, and I've only passed on two pieces of DLC. The stupid costume thing and a weapon pack, for those wondering.

  • Remember that last game on the list? Hey, I heard this game is pretty good too. Only 2 playthroughs here. Lady Shepard was a bad enough dude, Male Shep was a wuss hero.

  • A classic. I never completed it when I was 12 in 2005, but revisited it when it was released on GOD. I feel like my 12 year old self not finishing the game was a good thing for my general psychological well being. Meat Circuses and creepy young-Oleander be crazy, yo.

  • If you hadn't realized, this list will be working on connections I make in my head. Tim Schaefer (Schafer? IDK) is a genius, Brutal Legend was a good game. Haters gon' hate.

  • Hey! I looked at ME, and remembered KOTOR. I love these games. Numbah 2 is up next, FYI.

  • Did I lie? I thought not. Let's continue.

  • Now we continue down the R(pg)abbit hole. Yes that was a horrible joke. It was better before I typed it.

  • Groundbreaking to my pre-teen self. I will <3 you forever, Yuna.

  • Eff. Yes. Mario came back stronnngggg. I even beat all the World 9 levels. I had a fever, and the only cure was more star coins.

  • Burly space marines. Shooting people who live underground. Also, CHAINSAW ON THE MAIN FLIPPING GUN. THAT CAN SAW PEOPLE IN GODDAMN HALF.

  • MAAAARRRRRRRIIIIIIIIIAAAAAAAAAA!!!!

  • Incredibly middling. But who can pass up a free game? Singularity was disappointing. That one isn't on the list.

  • This game was amazing. I don't care what you say. It's great. You liar.

  • This one was superior in every single way. EVERY SINGLE WAY.

  • The list is a lie? <Insert overused meme herrrrrrrrre.>

  • Dude, what? Story was nuts.

  • The OG. Played at my neighbors as but a youngin'.

  • For someone who hates the franchise so much, I sure have completed like, all of the freaking games.

  • This game was sooooo weak.

  • Split screen multiplayer was where it was at. The game that started me into this hobby for reals. It helps that I was like, 8. I got my first copy from my babysitter's older brother.

  • My adolescence was wasted in this game. Superjumps, rocket/sword glitching, and dual-wieldin'. I spent far too much time online in this game.

  • I think this dropped my freshman year. Halo has grown up with me. As a senior, this franchise has taken up FAR too much of my life. It's probably a very high percentage.

  • The Rookie was a better character than Master Chief, plus no flood. So it already has a step up.

  • And to cap off my senior year, Reach. Noble Six was a better character than The Rookie. Such a great game.

  • A fantastic hack'n'slash. So much time was spent in 4-player coop and it was all glorious.

  • This is the only Rhythm Game I'm putting on here. I have finished GH I and II, RB I and II. And DJ Hero.

  • THIS IS MY GAME SON. RIKU, KAIRI, AND SORA. Thems mah peeple.

  • Decent. Not as good as KH 1. Also the last KH game I've played. Eff these handheld spinoffs. I do want to play Birth by Sleep though.

  • Haha, forgot this one when I was doing the big cluster of CoD. That dude shooting himself was nuts, amirite?

  • Amazing game. A bit stereotypical at this point, but still a fantastic game. Team Ico knows how to make a good game. Well except for that full-length escort mission.

  • Is there no wiki entry for VP: Lenneth? Well, I played the PSP version and it blew me away. Such a fantastic RPG.

  • This game blew me away at release. It was kind of my first RPG experience at the time, and I loved it. Thankfully I got into the genre, as it's probably my favorite.

  • Less stellar than the original. Still a ton of fun though, although I doubt I'll pick up Fable III. Seems like there are just so many better games out there that have better moral choices.

  • Meh. GTA. Shoot dudes, and when you get bored do missions. It just so happened to drop in kind of a dry period for me gaming wise and I finished it up. Fun, although story really wasn't my thing.

  • Oh, John Marston. You are my hero. I just wish you had better multiplayer.

  • Great downloadable game, if you still don't own it, buy it now. Why are you still here, you slacker?

  • This game was fantastic. So fantastic that I bought and consequently sold it 3 seperate times. I currently do not have a copy. It always just seems like the first game to go when I'm strapped for cash, despite my love for it.

  • Yet another fantastic downloadable. This game completely sucked me in, and unfortunately spit me back out about 4 hours later.

  • Not beaten at my house sadly, thus no achievement points. I was not at all a fan of the gameplay but the game drew me in. I just can't bring myself to play through this game again purely for achievements.

  • Watched one episode of the Endurance Run and ran out to buy a copy. A strangely fantastic game despite all of its flaws. I love you, Heavy Metal George.

  • I never really enjoyed the GoW games, but I still completed 3/4 that have been released. I just think I get too caught up in the hype.

  • Still haven't even touched the second game. I have it sitting on my shelf, and I think I've played maybe 30 minutes of it.

  • Oh the 2D-est of all Marios. How I love thee. Also played the N64 game to completion.

  • I played it to completion. Mario is just such a solid platforming franchise. Does this make me Mr. Gay?

  • Blowing things up was a major part of my life as a 12 year-old.

  • I've completed at least one game per set since the originals. A great, simple to play RPG which I've loved since birth, basically.

  • The game what (really, playing Genesis with my sister doesn't count as far as I'm concerned) started it all. I was 4 at its release, and I played the ever-loving crap out of this game. Beast Wars, I will always remember you fondly.

  • Not on my profile, but still marathonned (sp?) it at a friends. Crazy as hell, crazy awesome as hell.

  • This entire franchise is great! I've played through the major releases at least one time each.

  • Overrated? Maybe. Still not enough attention on this game either way.

  • This game was so out of left field. I loved it all the same, and spent a rather long time rolling up objects in Cosmic-Japan.

  • Best game ever, and the PSP port is the best port ever made. Ever.

  • Played through ER style at a friend's. Great game, if only I could afford New Vegas. :/

  • Haha, yep. Sonic was probably the first game I ever played and beat. My older sister used to play this, the original, and Aladdin with me all the time as a little kid. Beating StH2 is one of my first memories, actually.

  • See above. Fond memories.

  • This game was nuts. What was up with the underground lava levels? I don't think that was in the movie. Or was it? I was being born when this came out, so yeah.

  • First Wii game I ever beat. And one of the last, sadly.

  • A classic. I think I may be the only human being ever who preferred Majora's Mask.

  • Played the original, but sadly have never beaten the sequel or any of the subsequent episodic releases, but I loved the first.

  • Played at a friend's. Whaaaaaaaaat? This game rules so hard.

  • Yep, it's MGS3. *cough*

  • Oh god, I remember this game. I used to do reviews for a little site back when I was like, 13, and this was one of my first ones. It was a PSP-focused site, and I did a lot of work for them. I also was 13, so I slacked a lot too. Mitchell Dyer worked on it too, and as far as I know he's doing pretty well as a freelancer. Fun while it lasted, especially as a 13 year old.

  • Funny series, although I've only gotten to Seasons 1 and 2. I should get around to 3, but I'm lazy to tell you the truth.

  • Season 2 was okay. I liked Season 1 much better.

  • Pretty good for what it was. I'm a big Zelda fan and so I've beaten all of them except the handhelds.

  • My favortie Zelda. I liked it better than OoT, but that is clearly just me.

  • I cannot wait for III. I love you, Blizzard.

  • Another classic. Butt-sliding down the bobsled track thing in Peach's castle is one of the few gaming memories that have really stuck with me.

  • Sly, Jak, and Ratchet. My childhood personified by 3 cartoonish mascots. How I pine for the good ol' days. Sly is now in hiatus due to a lightning flinging bike messenger, Jak is some psycho dark eco freak, and Ratchet is on the wrong console.

  • This is the one with Insomniac's studios right? Either way, I pwnt this game.

  • Meh. A resounding meh is all I can say for this "game".

  • First stealth game I ever played. I still like the series, even if it took kind of a weird turn later on.

  • I liked this one much better than Pandora tomorrow, fyi.

  • Oh, Sly. You and your centuries-old family diary entertained me to no end. How about that end boss, am I right?

  • I love the sequel. A lot. The bosses could have been a bit better designed, but it improved the original in every way.

  • I want a Sly 4. None of this HD re-release crap. Although I'll probably buy it anyway.

  • I really wish the follow up games would have stuck to the light-hearted cartoony feeling of the first. I feel like they really started downhill once they got more serious.

  • Goatee equals badass.

  • Dune-buggies equal more badass.

  • Hopefully I'll have a functioning PS3 by the time the rerelease drops next year. Such a good crazy game.

  • Oddworld, I love thee.

  • Exoddus was such a good platformer, but the next one is really my favorite.

  • Munch, you are my hero. This game was amazing, ridiculous, and had a great sense of humor. The cutscenes are hysterical, the gaming is good, and the plot is great. The game that convinced me to go back to the previous two games.

  • Don't worry, I'm ashamed too.

  • Yes. I am no excuse for a man. I apologize for loving cute mexican creatures that I can slay with a shovel.

  • PC and iPod. I love you, MJ zombie. RIP, son, RIP.

  • I've spent so much time in tetris, I'm gonna count it as beaten.

  • D'awwwww, Racoon Mario, you're my favorite.

  • Fun, even if some of the mini-games are unresponsive.

  • Hit n' Run was faaaaarrrr superior.

  • The costumes in this game alone drove me nuts.

  • A pretty weak outing, but I picked it up cheap.

  • This game was nuts. Also, this list has officially been Martin Luther'd.

  • First game I bought during the holidays that I've finished. Helps that it was 5 hours long. Have barely even touched the multiplayer, let alone dug into it.

  • THIS GAME IS INCREDIBLE. The twist busted my brain into pieces, and I am definitely going back for all the endings. My ending sucked, 2 dead, the killer free, and the bleeder quit their job. Trying to stay spoiler-free here.
