Savage bees looks like a game come from a mad man's mind. A shrunk spaceship fight giant bees, skulls turning to tomatoes, and a giant H that drop lemons. WTF?

Man, I'd love to see a Commando pacifist run.

The arcade version also had pretty poor ports for C64, Amiga and PC. Especially the PC version was fucking terrible, but the C64 version had amazing music, as you'd expect.

@reisz: I vaguely remember playing this game. Maybe on the C64.

Man, Savage Bees/EXED EXES seems really fucking empty, in an almost creepy way. I'm not sure how exactly to describe it, but it feels like something important is missing from the game.

It's hard to tell whether or not that's intentional, given the incredibly sparse and legitimately kinda creepy art and sound design... But beyond that, it's like there ought to be some sort of additional gameplay element that's just totally absent.

Watching this made me remember the name of Speed Rumbler after years of not knowing what the car game on the Pizza Hut arcade was.

Is it just me, or is The Speed Rumbler just about exactly the same as Assault Heroes for XBLA?

I don't get why they end up always going straight to Casual mode. This game is aimed at hardcore or classic fans, you know what they're most interested in seeing? Probably not the classic mode... On top of that this is NOT the first time Jeff has played almost any of these and even if he didn't it's boringly easy. Oh well guess it's over now anyway.

It's not garbage. It just has some hiccups where it freezes and pauses so you unpause/resume etc. I just pause it and refresh the page and it goes right back to where it left off. Not a big problem for me.
