This seems like it would be of interest to fans of the series, and it totally makes sense as a pre-order bonus as I bet a lot of pre-orders were made by people who enjoyed the other games. However, if I didn't know anything about Dead Space and decided to spend $5 on this I would probably not be interested in getting Dead Space 2 after playing it.

Well, the first hacking minigame was basically identical to the one Looking Glass/Irrational have used in every -shock game since System Shock 1 in 1994.

Looked well implemented though, and considering Dead Space was planned to be System Shock 3 in the early planning phase, I suppose it makes sense to reference the hacking from the first two System Shock games.

This looks genuinely terrible in every conceivable way.

Honestly the story presentation should be the best part, and yet I found those minigames to be more interesting.  The story seems tacked on, rather than the reason to play it.

What a crock of shit, I mean seriously the first game may not have had any hacking mini-games, but at least the first one was a game! They could have at least made the animation better, this little pre-lc is like an endless Alien Breed cut scene, except Alien Breed is more enjoyable than this.

I would like to veto the name "PreLC" before it becomes even more popular than it already has!

I can't wait for Dead Space 2! The mini games look kinda lame tho IMO

They could've at least made original hacking mini games rather than just rip off other mini games that already exist elsewhere for free and with no crappy "animation" comic.

I think the comic-strip scenes could be vastly improved if it was replaced with the cast of SeaLab 2021.
