Quick Look: EX: The Saboteur

Huh. This game seems a lot more fun then I though!

The quick looks of this week were all stuffed into today.

Because the Irish are well known for their spider-like abilities.  
 
But any game that has you light a cigarette every few minutes or so, just like they do in old movies (see For a Few Dollars More) has to be good.

Kickass looking game

Climbing animation is a downer

EX just tells me they don't trust the bomb crew to play the game on their own. EX might as well say "red flag".

Looks alright.
 
Though World War II games are played OUT.

Now that I think about it, that seems right...

That definitely got me interested in a game I didn't think of much before.
I just hope they fix up some of the animation stuff; I noticed some jerky, hyper animations, and the when the character models talk, you can really see the distinct points that the animation in the face starts and stops.
A bit of polish and I think it can be great.

I don't know why don't more developers get rid of the constant over the shoulder camera in action/adventures like inFamous did. This is not a shooter, and I will be spending more time traversing than shooting, so just leave the reticle to one of the shoulder buttons.

Blowing up Zeppelins? Dude, bitchin'.

This game looks quite good.

Collected contraband list if anyone wants to go wild with linking Objects. Though essentially it seems to be "named money", rather than modeled items, so maybe not?

Looks AWESOME.

That game looked cooler than I initially thought. I thought it was going to be a hardcore stealth game to me for some odd reason but its good to know that there is still a good amount of stealth in it.

A nice take on a milked genre.

Looks fantastic. It's a unique WW2 game!

Very assassins creed/GTA

You have to see between the lies... Pandemic has let me down one too many times, the only decent game I played was Battlefront... Then Battlefront 2, Mercenaries 2 and the LOTR ones were a big overhyped fiasco, so no, I'm not taking my risk with this one. 
 
It amazes me that Pandemic at one point merged with Bioware before both being bought by EA. Why would Bioware do such a thing, they have such a high standard

Hmm I'm not sure how long that will last, 10 hours of that, I think I'd get bored, I know it's only a demo so I hope there's alot more to it.

Ehhh, mediocre.  Animations look way too quick and choppy.  Sean moves about three times as fast as he should.

those climbing animations look okay, but when he's climbing down, they look backwards 0.o

I thought this game was gonna be a little more original.  Seems to steal ideas from a bunch a games that have recently came out.  Like Assassins Creed, Infamous, and GTA.  I doubt I'll get this now.

Nice demo there.  The game looks pretty good.  Definitely keeping my eye on it.

I have to say that this completely deflated any hopes I had for the game.
It's not in any way what it was billed; it's Mercenaries with better filters.

Looking good, I am suprised a sandbox WW2 game hasn't really been attempted till now.  

Looks like potentially Pandemics best game to date. Then again, Mercs2 looked badass before it was released. Fingers crossed.

Game looks pretty impressive. If they can pull off the open world stuff well and keep things fun it could be a hit.  Ill probably get it.

I'm actually really interested in the game.  Super amazed.
