edit: Oh dave. You just press the right button, then you can shoot "pristine" bullets. They're much more effective.

I really like this game been playing it for the past few hours and it is just much fun. Side note god the 360 lags like hell. this much better on a PC.

Dude, yes. I'm waiting until June to pick this up because that's when I'll be getting my new PC. Alas, I'll have this QL now at least.

Bullets and beer pretty much the two best currencies ever.

The...game does not look that good in truth. Maybe that is just the 360 version...The frame rate looks a bit bad in combat. But eh... 
 
O and about the ammo. 
 
Pre bomb falling ammo=Hold reload button to use it. It does more damage.

For the record Dave, you CAN in fact use your pristine bullets. Hold the reload button. I don't recommend using them since you can buy rusty ones which do around the same amount of damage.
Also, play the PC version Dave, it is vastly superior (given you got the right PC/settings).
Also also, the frontline part was supposed to stealth, not shoot-and-die.

i am really on the fence about this game..i hope this QL helps..

Currency is explained like this, pre-war weapons and prestine ammo, kickass. The new stuff is made out of junk and it's just not good enough for getting the job done. 
 
So you will have the choice to either use the pre-war good weapons+pristine ammo, which is alot rarer, or trade it for the new crap which is alot more common.

this game looks interesting! the Ukraine is not weak.

This game is soooo freaking good! I know its early on, but I feel GOTY for this already. Considering what games coming out this year now it will definitely top my list unless there are some real surprises coming.

 This game is really great and has interesting game mechanics. I don't think the shooting is bad, but perhaps that's because it looks so pretty I don't care.
 
The running is pretty doofy, though.

I was like, why does this look like shit? Oh, its the xbox version.

Bullets for currency? That's so strange, would have expected shell casings or vodka caps. Aside from the eyes on the mpcs the game looks rather good, definitely going to add it now to gamefly after seeing this QL.

wow Dave is really bad at the game on a technical level. He must have rushed passed some of the tutorials.  
 
Here's the tips.
hold the light and the board, to light up the board
when using pistol or ak47 or smg hold reload to switch to the money bullet
hold reload to pump up some of the guns
listen to the speech there is a reason they called him a comedian

Dave, just wait till you give the PC version a go; it's goddamn incredible and has a lot of the issues you mention fixed up.

Looks pretty cool.

In Fallout 1, bottlecaps are backed by a merchant organization and the tech to recreate more bottlecaps is lost.

I really would like to see the pc version of this game.

Eh, doesn't do it for me, it doesn't look interesting and looks kinda clunky.

Im kinda disappointed with the game.
