Quick Look: Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2

Ha ha lol the Ninja Gaiden series has been raped. If you want your Ninja Gaiden fix get NG2 on the 360, this Sigma is a load of crap and is aimed at casual gamers which is not what the NG series was about. No blood, no high difficulties....Sigma 2 sucks

Looks the same to me. They changed the red theme from the Xbox 360 to a blue theme and ripped off all the gore that made NG2 so awesome to me. Also it looks are little bit easier...

You would be a lot better if you held triangle and did the power up attack more often.

I played NG2 for the 360 and all this "Framerate is bad on the PS3 version" and "Graphics are bad" and "less blodd" bullshit is getting pathetic. 
I fucking hate fanboys. This looks like what I played on my 360. 
But I guess the fanboys are always pissed about stuff going to the console they hate because they don't own it. 
I think it's great that the PS3 only-owners gets to play this game now, with way more to do added into the mix. 

Think I'm going to pick up NG2 after this video, I want the blood.

I wish they didn't take out all the awesome blood effects the 360 version had, otherwise it looks ok and plays the same

It looks like Ninja Gaiden 2, with less blood, and easier.

The inclusion of Ayane and Momiji as playable characters is really fantastic.
 
But the lack of blood, gore, and limbs is very disappointing.  In the 360 version, after big battles the area would be littered with limbs and blood splattered everywhere, and it would never disappear.  Here, limbs disappear immediatly, there's very little blood and it disappears from the ground almost instantly.  Why did they change this?
 
Also, much like the original Sigma they've made the game, much, much easier..  Almost utterly defeats the point of the game.

I thought the point of the game was having fun while playing :X.
 
While I admit that blood and limd is a nice touch, it's not mandatory to make a game great. Also, harder difficulty get unlocked after you beat the game. Not sure if I'll get it, but I like the fact that you can play with a pal

Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 gets new features like loadtimes for everything and no gore. Yeah, thats the version I want to buy. But still, its Ninja Gaiden 2. If you dont have a 360 then buy Sigma(its still a really good game if you like a bit of challenge), if you have a 360 too then that would be the version I would recommend since Team Missions doesnt add much and the load times are significently more frequent in Sigma then in the origional.

Camera still sucks...

The lack of gore has unsold me on this one...i haven't played Ninja Gaiden 2 at all yet, and i prefer the sigma package when it comes to NG.
 
On one hand it does look a little more realistic, but did the limbs always turn into purple vapour? or is it them demon ninja's fault?
 
Man that boss at the end there...God Of War 2 totally had one that was VERY similar.

I guess I should check out the demo, it seems more fun than I thought it would be.

I felt bad for the one-legged ninjas hopping around, man is dedicated to his job.

I'm really waiting for a Quick Look that the boys do drunk.
 
Similar to the Age of Booty thing, just more like a typical QL, but sauced.

Even though its hard to watch the guys play this game (not a lick of dash jumping, or a hint of a UT) still a great Quick Look!

All I can think of when I see this game is Itagaki getting really pissed.

Sadly, in my opinion, Ninja Gaiden 2 on 360 is better.  The changes that were made for the PS3 version are mostly for the worst and the game just doesn't feel as smooth anymore.

I gotta say, blood not spewing from the severed limbs of enemies really makes the game feel flat and unfinished.

very first boss from ninja gaiden was this dude with nunchucks, don't know why they found him so hard though I thought he was fairly easy "
