Bummer.  Qix is great, but this doesn't really look like any improvement to the original formula. 
Good thing I have Qix for Game Boy for scratching that itch.

This looks like Jezzball, except Jezzball is FUCKING AWESOME.

wow, talk about something non-issuey. Backgrounds, how dare they! I know there'd have been flack for just having nothing or a single color there, too.

When it said "IN THE NOT TOO DISTANT FUTURE" my brain immediately filled in "NEXT SUNDAY A.D."

So few levels, and several of them can be beaten an only a few seconds? For no more effort that went into any aspect of the game, I would expect at least 100 levels, especially for the 10 dollar price tag...and apparently those missing levels ARE coming, as (presumably) premium DLC? 
 
Qix++ is only five dollars less than MVC2 or Shadow Complex. Qix++ is only $10 dollars cheaper than Gay Tony. Qix++ is the same price as Flower, Bomberman Ultra, and Gravity Crash.
 
This is right up there with horse armor and paying for alternate SF4 outfits already encoded on the disc.

Tight qix strategies yo.

I used to play the hell out of QIX on the original gameboy... I'm glad that the franchise still exists, and is getting attention, but its sad that there seems to be such a lack of included content in the base package...

Looks fun but not worth $10.

I used to kick ass at Qix on the 5200 .

Damn, I remember playing this game on my friend's C64 way back in the day. Oh wait! On his C128!! Now that was a cutting edge piece of machinery! Good times!

This QL just blew my mind. I always pronounced it 'Quicks'. Now I just feel silly.

Seems like fun, but I think they nailed it right on the head.  A bit expensive for a $10 game, and the fact they're clearly already intending to release DLC just seems very cheap.  I'm not going to buy a game with such little value.

ok what's the point of making a story if you're not gonna even try to make it decent. Where did they come from? What do they do?

I really like the look of this, but I utterly resent the way they're inevitably going to milk the game for DLC.

wow, i love this kind of game.  Too bad they ruined it by being greedy.  16 levels?  thats ridiculous.
 
Also, why in most quick looks do you guys always try to play multiplayer but it never works out?

Now I have to buy the game so i can scroll down and read the rest of the backstory. Damnit! :P
