Exactly what I was thinking. It seems like a lot of fun, I just doubt I'd ever feel like sitting down and playing it on the Wii for so long. As a portable game, it'd be perfect.

Oh, and more games like this for future TNT's please!

Agreed with everyone else that this was an amazing TNT, despite Patrick's insufferable whining.

This. I loaded up the video out of curiosity and ended up watching the whole thing. The game really lent itself well to a TNT, there wasn't really any lulls and it was just funny.

It helped that the game encouraged HUGE swings too, who'd have thought that Vinny would make a mad dash at the end? Some of the dice rolls were pure evil, repeatedly threw Patrick through a loop and did nothing but help Ryan.

Yeah, there were swings, but in the general sense the game rewarded smart play. Jeff, I mean Platypunk won because of smart/early stock investments, Slime floundered because of his reliance on District D, which helped out until the monopoly was broken up. Bowser Jr. was able to fly under the radar and secretly create a powerhouse with District C. Birdo spent all of its money on District A, which ended up failing. Selling all of their stocks didn't help.

This is the first TNT I've watched in awhile, period. Despite the fact that they have all been very short, I've been bored by all of them.

Expensive compared to what? The average Wii game launches at a price $10 cheaper than games on the other consoles.

I loved how District A became a financial bubble and then totally crashed, basically losing the game for patrick.

Wow, I usually don't watch these marathon videos of 4 hrs. But this one, was fun as hell to watch.

@Hailinel: I dunno, I feel like this would be a $40 budget title on Xbox. There doesn't seem to be enough to it for me to justify the $50 dollar price tag, especially considering it seems like it would be boring as hell to play solo.

1:29:00 is when it gets amazing.

That was a surprisingly good tnt to watch, despite it being a board game. I think they might be more fun to watch when it's just the crew on the couch playing so they can trash talk each other.

This game looks amazing! Too bad its on the Wii :( Seems like it would make a cool iPad/phone or XBL/PSN release.

After watching this, I'm envisioning Birdo protesting with an "Occupy Fortune Street" picket sign. Platypunk is the 1%.

I actually really enjoyed that, except for the .gifs...

This was AMAZING! Great choice for TNT. I laughed out loud more than I can remember at the hard swings.

By the way, to anyone looking for this outside the US, Nintendo boned up their naming again by calling this "Boom Street," which is more evocative of break-dancing than Monopoly. It's also not out before the Christmas break, so it seems they're boning it up all around at Nintendo.

I've never wanted a game more in my life.

Great TNT! I found the composited interruptions annoying though. Who knew Jeff (aka Satan!) was the best businessman?

@crusader8463: to be fair mario party 9 was so bad that the entire time they were just waiting for the show to end. but for this, they enjoyed it enough to play 4 whole hours.

NUH UH! YOUR STUPID!

I watched this 2 and a half times (once just the back half) and I think it's one of the best TNTs. Boardgames make for great 4 person TNTs just like 4 Player Game Show Games make for great Quick Looks.
